March Details

With so much mystery, cool characteristics and allure we couldn’t resist creating a mermaid collection! Dive in!

Most of our planet is covered by water and 95% of the oceans have never been explored by humans, could mermaids be hiding in the deep blue sea?

Ummm…..can we talk about the fact that they decided to do a mermaid theme for the March box?! #bestideaever

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the March box…

Oh Shell Yes

What a way to affirm a well-done deed, a promotion, a great presentation, or a random act of kindness!

Iloot Paperie, located in Pasadena, CA, is the cheeky creation of sisters Doris and Alice. ILOOT, the acronym for In Lieu of Ordinary Things was a dream come true for the Lieu sisters. They had imagined creating a business that incorporated their last name since they were very young.

You’re Probably a MERMAID

This is a perfect gal pal card! No special occasion needed to share this one.

Pixies and Porcupines, located in Chicago, IL was founded in 2011 by designer and smart aleck savant, Nancy Flem. This letterpress chippy uses paper, ink and old-world techniques to spread laughter through mailable pieces of art.

Magical Mermaid

Go ahead, “tail” someone how truly special they are with this card.

Boxberry, located in Chicago, IL, is designed and illustrated by Erin Bonham. Boxberry is rooted in Erin’s love of doodles and snail mail.

Giraffe-Maid

This mysterious little sea creature is sure to bring a smile , how can you not love that face?.

Fox and Crow, located in St.Pete Beach, FL, is the creative work of Evan Pullman Neidich. When she is not creating little treats to make you smile, she is teaching elementary school art.

Little Mermaid

Send a “little love” note that is “larger than the sea”. Bonus: the envelope is embellished with washing tape and hand drawn stars.

Halthegal, located in Greenville, SC, are the fairy tale inspired creations of  Hallie Bertling. All of her cares are prints of her original gouache painting.

Ahoy There

Take a moment, drop your anchor and send a “hello, how are you? I have been thinking about you” note.

Leafy Dumas, located I North Essex, UK, created this postcard from her painting, Tallulah, a sailor inspired tattoo.

Artsy Doodad

Pentel Slicci extra fine .25 gel roller pen in green.

Postmark’d Studio Review March 2018 – Final Thoughts

The March Postmark’d Studio box is pretty stinkin’ cute. We didn’t receive as many items as we have in previous boxes, but…….the fact that they did a mermaid theme makes up for it if you ask me. I mean….how cute are these cards! I’m actually kind of surprised that we haven’t seen more boxes jump on the mermaid bandwagon. It really does make for a great theme, and it’s a fun way to brighten up the month of March, which can be a little blah in my part of the world. These cute little mermaid cards are exactly what I need to get me through the last part of March while I wait for the sunshine and warmer weather. Thank you Postmark’d Studio for putting a smile on my face….once again.

XOXO
