Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the Spring Simply Beautiful Box…..

Lark & Ives Envelope Crossbody ($100)

We can’t get enough of Vancouver-based Lark & Ives and their high quality vegan leather goods. This envelope crossbody bag is a classic design that fuses minimalism, style and functionality effortlessly. Both the black and mulberry colors come with a removable, adjustable strap so you can wear the bag across your body or around your neck like a lanyard. The strap also easily detaches to create a standalone clutch. This purse is thin and sleek, but spacious enough to hold your basic necessities and up to six cards.

We have received a few items from Lark & Ives over the last couple years and I have loved all of their products thus far. It is a beautiful company that I have come to appreciate. This season we received an adorable mini crossbody. Perfect for those days when I am running errands by myself (no baby) and need a break from my over-sized tote. It feels so nice to head out the door with nothing but a tiny little purse in hand.

I highly recommend checking out their website. I’ve got my eye on their Perfect Tote. It’s SO pretty!

AG Coco Conditioning Spray ($26)

Last season we gave you a deep conditioning treatment, but spring is the ideal time to lighten up. Formulated with over 98 percent plant-based and naturally derived ingredients, this spray conditioner from Vancouver-based AG includes coconut oil, macadamia extract and mango seed butter to help detangle, strengthen and hydrate, leaving hair feeling soft and manageable. The silicon-free formula is ideal for medium to thick hair types and those prone to knots.

This is absolutely perfect! My long hair sometimes needs a little extra something to help get the tangles out and nothing is more convenient than a spray on conditioning treatment. Easy to use and much needed. I appreciate items like this.

Evalina Beauty Lip Gloss Duo ($64)

We first brought you Vancouver-based Evalina Beauty’s super-moisturizing lip glosses in our Summer 2019 box, and they were so popular that we decided to bring them back with two new color options. Whether you selected Berry and Blossom again or wanted to try their brand new colors, Poppy and Juliet, your lips will thank you. This long-lasting and non-sticky formula leaves lips feeling soft and conditioned thanks to antioxidants, including vitamin E. The bonus? This product is vegan, paren-free and not test on animals.

We usually receive an item (or two) from Evaline Beauty in each Simply Beautiful Box and it’s one of the products I look forward to most. Here we have a beautiful lip gloss duo. I received their new colors Poppy and Juliet. I love them both! They add just a hint of color, they are very moisturizing, and non-sticky. I’m wearing Poppy as we speak!

HUNA Nourish Calendula Healing Oil ($60)

Huna, one of our all-time favourite skin care brands, has moved its operations from Manitoba to B.C. and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them closer. This season, we’re including their Calendula Healing Oil, which contains 99 percent pure calendula flower extract  infused into organic camellia oil. Calendula prompts rapid healing, improves skin’s hydration and firmness levels and contains powerful anti-oxidant properties to reduce redness, soothe irritation, and promote healthy skin. Apply it anywhere on the face and body and let your skin drink in its healing powers.

I love a good oil, especially one with multiple uses. This one can be used on skin irritations, wounds, rashes, sunburns or dry & dehydrate skin. Perfect to have on hand.

Brockmann’s Chocolates Crunchetti ($5)

We know how much you loved Crunchetti in previous boxes and thought it was the perfect time for another treat. Inspired by their European heritage and family recipes, the Brockman’s have been making chocolates in BC for more than 40 years. They Crunchettie features irresistibly delicious milk and dark chocolate with almond and rise-crisp clusters (we dare you not to eat the whole bag at once). Certified kosher, gluten-free, and made with no artificial colors or flavors.

Ahhh……I can’t even tell you how happy I am to see this in the box. It’s a repeat offender but I am more than ok with that. Brockmann’s Crunchetti is unbelievably good. A must-try in my books. This one is dark chocolate with roasted almonds and I want to eat the entire bag right now.

Try Earth Mesh Grocery Bag ($10)

Feel like you’re strolling the markets of Paris with this reusable shopping bag from Port Moody-based Tru Earth. Beyond being a stylish and sustainable way to carry your produce and other groceries, the mesh fabric allows your fruit and vegetables to breath. Made with 100 percent cotton, this bag is super durable and easy to wash and dry so it can be used again and again. It also makes a great beach bag since mesh allows sand to escape (and we can’t be the only ones dreaming of Summer already, can we)?

These little mesh bags are so cute! I love receiving them in my boxes (I have a small collection of various sizes) because they are perfect for grocery shopping and trips to the Farmer’s Market. I keep a couple tucked in the glovebox of my car. I like to have them on hand at all times.

Mrs. Meyers Body Wash ($9)

Known for their outstanding house cleaning products, Mrs. Meyers wants to clean you too! Whether you received the Rain Water (clean with a hint of flowers), Oat Blossom (creamy and fresh) or Plum Berry (juicy with the tang of ripe fruits), each body wash is made with essential oils and other thoughtfully chosen ingredients to leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed. Simply work up a lather in your hands, washcloth or loofah, suds up and breathe in the lovely scents, then rinse.

Mrs. Meyers is a brand I’ve been wanting to try for quite some time. They have a really great selection of cleaners, fresheners and body care. I especially love the seasonal scents they come out with.

Lovely Linens Tea Towel ($16)

Designed locally, this 100 percent cotton black-and-white herbs-de-Provence inspired teal towel from Lovely Linens is a great way to freshen up your kitchen for spring. Perfect for drying dishes, drying hands or just hanging on display, it might even inspire you to cook up a little French cuisine.

Lastly we have this gorgeous little tea towel which I am going to tuck away and save for our new kitchen. The simple design and neutral colors will go perfectly in our new home and it will be such a pretty piece to have on display.

Simply Beautiful Box Review Spring 2021 – Final Thoughts

Once again Simply Beautiful Box has curated a lovely selection of products perfect for the season. As I sit here and look at all the items in front of me I can say with 100% certainty that I will get use out of all of them. One of my favorite things about Simply Beautiful Box is the mixture of items we receive. Home decor, makeup, skincare, snacks and accessories. But out of everything we received this season I must say that my favorite would definitely be the lip gloss……and maybe the chocolate:)
