SinglesSwag Review April 2018

At SinglesSwag, they do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. They believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not her relationship status. They love to make women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Subscription boxes are an interesting thing. I’ve come to realize that they are very personal. Yes, they are curated to appeal to the masses, but some boxes are better suited to my personal preferences than others. For example, I feel like SinglesSwag is curated specifically for me, each and every month. I’m not sure of this is because their curator has similar preferences to myself, or if they are just really, really good at curating a box that appeals to a variety of preferences. Regardless, some boxes speak to me and some boxes don’t. SinglesSwag is the perfect example of a box that speaks to my heart, and that makes me oh so happy.

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the April SinglesSwag box….

Naobay Deep Cleansing Milk ($28)

Love your skin with this all-natural, organic and cruelty-free product containing antioxidants and anti-aging rich ingredients that will leave face and body silky-smooth, clean and moisturized.

Just look at how gorgeous this bottle is! I appreciate quality packaging when it comes to my skincare items. It says a lot about a company. It tells me that they put time and effort into the products they create, not only the products themselves but the packaging, the marketing and the brand. I will take a more expensive, well-branded item over a less-expensive poorly-branded item any day…..period.

Mollie Jacob Aztec Chic Pouch ($26)

This durable, stylish zipper pouch is perfect for carrying all your must-have accessories and beauty essentials.

Well, isn’t this just the cutest little pouch ever!! I love the colours and I love the pattern. I am about due for a new carry-all pouch for my purse and this will do the job nicely.

Laritzy Eye Pencil ($18)

Bring out the sparkle in your eyes with this creamy, long-wearing product formulated to provide generous, consistent color. The fine point allows for precise application without bleeding and can be used to create a sharp line or a softer, smoky effect.

Looking for cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and long-lasting makeup?! Laritzy is your brand. I’ve come to appreciate this brand more and more over the last year. I have received it quite often in different subscription boxes and all the products I have received have been lovely.

Belgian Boys Stroopwafel ($4)

Treat yourself to this delicious authentic Dutch waffle cookie with an irresistible caramel filling. Made with love in the Netherlands.

Ummm….SO excited to see these in the box!! Stroopwafels are amazing! If you haven’t tried them you must! I put it off for the longest time but finally gave in to the trend and I am so glad I did. These are a really lovely treat to have with a cup of coffee or a cup of tea.

Executive Society Trance Bracelet ($58)

Add style and sophistication to any look with this chic, modern gold plated cuff bracelet. Wear it by itself or stack it with your other go-to pieces.

Remember my rant about packaging earlier in the review? Well, the same applies here. I just love this adorable little pouch and the gorgeous breast tucked inside. If you don’t like gold jewelry, not to worry, this would make the cutest gift for a gold-loving friend.

Zoe Ayla Oval Shaped Contour Brush ($40)

This premium makeup brush with a unique comfort handle and laser-cut microfibre bristles is ergonomically designed to ensure effortless, full-coverage application. The increased bristle count over traditional makeup brushes will massage and exfoliate your skin.

I might not be much of a makeup gal but I know that this is a pretty amazing tool when it comes to foundation and contouring. I’ve watched numerous makeup tutorials where this is a feature product. Subscribers are going to be very happy when they see this in the box.

Baronessa Cali E-Vulcano Hand Creme ($18)

This rich, velvety hand creme loaded with volcanic minerals, Sicilian lemons and natural oils will soothe and protect your skin, while leaving it silky smooth and bursting with vitality.

I love a good hand cream, and THIS is a good hand cream. It smells lovely, it’s super soft and it moisturized my hands nicely. Check, check, check!

SinglesSwag Review April 2018 – Final Thoughts

Once again SinglesSwag has done an amazing job. But that should come as no surprise. My April review has a bit of a theme going on, and the theme is branding. I can tell a lot about a product by its branding, just like I mentioned above when we were speaking about the Cleansing Milk and the Bracelet. As soon as I saw SinglesSwag pop up on my Instagram feed and my Facebook feed a few months back I knew I would love this subscription. They have amazing marketing and an amazing box to back it up. This is a prime example of judging a subscription box by it’s cover……and being right!

PS – The April box has a retail value of $192…….another reason I LOVE my SinglesSwag subscription!

XOXO
