SinglesSwag Review June 2020

SinglesSwag is a fun, stylish monthly surprise for amazing single women! They do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. They believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not her relationship status. They love to make women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Wow, what a great surprise! I just received my May SinglesSwag box so I certainly wasn’t expecting to receive my June box so soon. Two SinglesSwag boxes in one month! It feels like Christmas….or my birthday!

Just a little FYI, my May box arrived quite late and I’m sure it was due to the current circumstances and the effect it has had on the mail system. But my June box arrived on time so it appears as though things are starting to pick up. This is great news!

Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the June SinglesSwag box….

Way of Will Massage Oil ($30)

Muscle aches and pains are no match for this comforting and ultra-relaxing massage oil infused with sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil and jojoba oil. Helps skin retain moisture and soothes irritation, while leaving behind a protective barrier.

This couldn’t have arrived at a better time! Packing baby Steven around all day is taking a toll on my body, resulting in sore muscles. He’s VERY big for his age and growing so darn fast that my body isn’t getting the time it needs to adjust to his weight gain. I will DEFINITELY be using this massage oil on the regular.

It’s called Soothe and Cool and it’s made with Peppermint and German Chamomile. The peppermint will give skin a tingling sensation and the chamomile cools affected zones. They say to apply on clean skin after you shower when skin is damp.

Richer Poorer Socks ($14)

Treat your feet with these stylish, cozy socks produced with high quality combed cotton designed for durability and comfort.

I never used to wear socks around the house, I was more of a bare feet kinda gal, but now that I am up at 3am each morning I find myself wearing socks all the time…..cold, dark mornings call for cozy socks right?! So I feel like these also arrived at the perfect time. I would have preferred a different color but I will definitely still wear them.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Oil ($22)

This therapeutic lip conditioner fuses all the benefits of a balm and gloss into an oil-like concoction without the gooey stickiness. Imparts a sensual glow and tinted coverage to help improve the appearance of volume and softness.

Wow….it has been a very long time since I received a product from Jelly Pong Pong in any of my subscription boxes. In fact, I kind of forgot about this brand until it showed up in this month’s SinglesSwag. I received their Lip Oil in Cherry Tomato, which is the perfect name because it’s actually made with tomato oils….how cool is that?! It’s a really nice formula, it adds just a hint of color, it’s not sticky and adds a little moisture.

Pirouline Creme Filled Wafers ($4)

Indulge in these delicious, flaky treats, produced with high-quality ingredients in the USA.

We have received these wonderful little wafers a few times before and I am more than happy to receive them again. They are right up there with Stroop Waffles. Ok, maybe second to Stroop Waffles. But SO good nonetheless. Perfect for a little afternoon treat.

Spongelle Honey Blossom Pedi-Buffer ($18)

Treat your feet with this body wash infused buffer with a built-in cleanser and soothing extract that will whisk away dry skin and leave your feet soft and silky smooth. Dermatologist tested, vegan friendly, cruelty-free and made in the USA.

I rave about Spongelle sponges every chance I get. They are such a lovely little shower companion. But I am yet to try the pedi-buffer sponges. They cleanse, massage, and buff away dry soles for professional pedicure results at-home.

To Use: Place sponge under warm water, squeeze to activate. Use the soft side to cleanse and the textured side to gently exfoliate by using a circular motion—while stimulating circulation.

Hannah Sienna Manicure Set ($18)

Rescue yourself from any mani-emergency with this fun, useful travel-sized kit containing clippers, nail file, cuticle pusher, nail cleaner, and multipurpose scissors.

I already have a pedicure set but I am happy to receive another one, especially now that I am doing my own nails, and will be for quite some time. I’m tempted to keep this one in my purse as you just never know when you will need to tend to a broken nail.

Gemma Simone Necklace Set ($60)

There are so many ways to show off these summer-themed charms. Wear each versatile piece as a necklace or bracelet by wrapping around your neck or wrist and adjust the easy-to-use cords to fit.

This is the cutest necklace set!! What a fun item to receive. I love that it includes three different colors and three different charms. As much as I want to keep it for myself, I think I will end up gifting it to my three nieces. There’s one for each of them….it’s absolutely perfect.

Steve Laurant The Shade Palette ($36)

Whether you’re going for a light every-day look or a deep nighttime smokey eye, this versatile palette will help you achieve endless looks and includes both shimmers and mattes.

What a coincidence! As I was going through last month’s box I thought to myself, if would be really nice to see something a little different in regards to the makeup item we receive each month. We often receive highlighter and/or lip gloss so it’s really nice to see an eyeshadow palette, and a bueaitful one at that! I love all of the colors and can see myself wearing all of them except maybe the dark one in the top left corner. Next I am hoping for blush……fingers crossed.

SinglesSwag Review June 2020 – Final Thoughts

The retail value of the June SinglesSwag box is $202 – amazing as per usual. I feel like we receive some really great essentials this month, items that I can (and will) use on a regular basis such as the oil, Spongelle, socks, lip oil, eyeshadow and nail kit. There’s not one items that jumps out at me as the hero product in the box, but as a whole it is a really great selection of goodies. I’m really excited to gift the necklaces to my nieces and the snack this month is a personal fave. Overall it is a lovely box but what I am really excited about is the July box…..can’t wait for that one to show up in my mail box!
