Smartass & Sass Box Review January 2023

Smartass & Sass is a gift and subscription service for snarky individuals and cynical a**holes. They hand-select products from artists and small businesses and work with manufacturers to produce brand-new items that are sure to make you giggle. Subscribers also help them decide on items and have access to a secret sale shop. They kindly sent us this box for review.

When you sign up for Smartass & Sass, you’ll have three different options:

• S&S SHIRT ONLY Subscription – $15.95/month
• S&S BOX Subscription – $34.95/month
• S&S BIG BOX Subscription – $49.95/month

Shipping: Boxes ship from Lincoln, Nebraska on the 18th of every month. US Shipping starts at $3.95 US and they ship internationally to Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Australia starting at $6.95 US.

Each Smartass & Sass includes a card with a QR code linking a digital brochure written by a Smartass & Sass staff member and the S&S Team. In the brochure they include detailed info on the box’s monthly theme, on the items themselves, tips, recipes and hilarious commentary.

Blockbuster Blue Collectible Marker – $4.95 (Smartass & Sass)

I haven’t seen this shade of blue in a loonng time -I also haven’t rewound a tape in a loooonngg time too – what a throwback!

Sparkle Pencil Box – $3.00 (Smartass & Sass)

I haven’t had a pencil case in ages, and when I did, they were always boring canvas cases. We used this right away for my son’s pencil crayons and, as directed, added some fun erasers to the mix too.

Vintage Sass Sticker Set (set of 2)! – $13.95 (Smartass & Sass)

HOW CUTE! I immediately decorated my water bottle and my son’s new pencil case. These stickers look like amazing quality and are so colorful and fun.

Bitchin’ Visor – $20.00 (Smartass & Sass)

This hat actually is totally bitchin’! Perfect for the summer months and so easy to wear with my mom bun for my hot girl stroller walks.

Mean People Suck Socks – $14.00 (Gumball Poodle)

Mean people really do suck. I can’t wait to wear these snarky socks at the gym. They are very nice quality and I love that they’re pink – I’m sure they’ll last many inspirational wears.

What-ever! Perfume Roller – $18.00 (Wicked Good)

This smells good enough to eat! Fresh with lime, cherry and watermelon – I feel like an absolute snack when wearing this beautiful scent.

She’s All That Puffy Stars Earrings – $32.00 (Foxy Originals)

Ok these look JUST like the stick-on-stud earrings I used to have as a kid. I think my mom had bought me a pack of 100 and I wore them every day for nearly a year. Eventually I got my ears pierced and little Kylie would have LOVED to wear these earrings then and now!

Holographic Lip Gloss – $15.00 (Bella Pierre)

I was so happy to see a lip gloss in this month’s box! I received the Polaris (which in my opinion is the nicest one!) They are so sparkly and ultra shiny, but still modern enough to wear now. Unlike the frosty nearly white lipgloss I used to wear when I was ten.

Smartass & Sass Review January 2023 – Final Thoughts

Smartass & Sass is always such a fun box to open up every month, and I feel like they finally leaned into the more sassy side of things. They still had a little snark, but it wasn’t as vulgar as boxes in the past. Just shows there are ways to be funny without using only expletives. All in all, I’m super happy with this box, and look forward to seeing what they come up with next month.
