Smartass & Sass Review July 2020

Smartass & Sass is a gift and subscription service for snarky individuals and cynical a**holes. If you have a sarcastic sense of humor, love to laugh, and the mouth of a sailor, this subscription service is for you! They hand-select products from artists and small businesses and work with manufacturers to produce brand-new items that are sure to make you giggle.

What you get: Each Smartass & Sass box includes 5-7 hilarious items you are sure to love. Each Smartass & Sass box will also have a theme (e.g. Tha’s What She Said) and all of the items included will fit within that theme. You can expect things like mugs, notebooks, tote bags, water bottles, pens & pencils, magnets, candles, and more. They regularly survey their sassy gang to make sure they are finding the types of goods you want to get. Don’t worry, while they sometimes work with the same partners for multiple months, you’ll never get the same product twice!

Subscription Details

When you sign up for Smartass & Sass, you’ll have three different options:

• S&S SHIRT ONLY Subscription – $15.95/month
• S&S BOX Subscription – $34.95/month
• S&S BIG BOX Subscription – $49.95/month

Shipping: Boxes ship from Lincoln, Nebraska on the 18th of every month. US Shipping starts at $3.95 US and they ship internationally to Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Australia starting at $6.95 US.

July’s theme: That’s What She Said

Here’s a closer look at the items I received in the July Smartass & Sass box:

TWSS 6-Pencil Pack – Tiramisu Paperie

“This set of six pencils is a great way to let those know your sense of humour (and find fellow The Office fans). Desk accessory nerds will drool over them and friends will want to steal them. Set of 6 white No.2 pencils with gold-foil detail.”

These pencils are awesome and made me laugh. At first they look like a classy pencil to non-suspecting people, but if you look close you see the humour.

Bite Me Eat Me Sticker – S&S

“Tacos can’t offend anyone, right? These high-quality stickers are outdoor durable and are coated with a matte lamination for long-lasting color.”

These stickers will be perfect for my lunch kit and agenda.

Blow Me Hankie – S&S

“Classy from far away, sassy from up close. This handkerchief is 12” x 12” and made from a soft blend 100% cotton with a scalloped edge. If anyone ever asks to borrow it, we hope they LOL.”

YES! This is an amazing handkerchief. I have been wanting one for a while and love that every time I pull this out I will giggle. I also think it would look spectacular with a navy suit or outfit.

Bottoms Up Flask – S&S

“Made from a green vegan leather and food-grade stainless steel, it’ll remind you to tip it up and knock one back.”

I’ve never owned a flask so I am excited to receive this one. Green is my faourite colour and it would be a nice companion to take along to a socially-distanced adult event this summer.

(Pizza) Size Matters Tea Towel – S&S

“We are completely obsessed with jacquard-style tea towels. They’re so soft and absorbent! This towel is 28 x 21 inches and 100% cotton. Unfold the towel for a full pizza masterpiece.”

I am obsessed with fun tea towels and this one is a perfect addition to my collection! (Pizza) size does matter! 😉

Worth Waiting For Perfume Roller – Wicked Good

“One whiff and you’ll be instantly be transported to an island of healthy delights. Apply inside the wrists, creases of the elbows, the neck. This product is cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, phthalate-free, non-toxic and comes in eco-conscious packaging.”

This perfume oil is made with coconut water, monoi tiare, and jasmine. It smells divine.

You Know What You Touched Soap Dispenser – Buffalovely

“You’re gross and you know it.”

I am obsessed with this soap dispenser and I will use it for hand sanitizer. It’s hilarious because I basically say this to my teenage son all the time, “Did you wash your hands? C’mon man, you know what you touched!”

Dirty Mind Card – Vim & Vigor Designs

“The perfect pick-me-up for your favorite potty mouth.”

This card is perfect for my friend – she will appreciate it! I like that it’s blank inside and printed on sustainably sourced paper.

The July Smartass & Sass box contained a detailed product card but I wanted to wait to look at it until after unboxing each item. There’s a photo of each product, some discount codes listed, product values, and the spoiler for August’s theme.

Smartass & Sass June 2020 – Final Thoughts

The July Smartass & Sass box had seven items that fit the “That’s What She Said” theme perfectly! I enjoyed this month’s Smartass & Sass box because it’s contents are useful, hilarious, and made me laugh! My favorite items were the Bottoms Up Flask, the (Pizza) Size Matters Teatowel, and the “You Know What You Touched” Soap Dispenser – but real talk, I loved all of the items! The value for this box was over $79 and the curation was awesome! This Smartass & Sass subscription is a perfect gift for yourself or anyone who has a cheeky, fun sense of humor.
