Smartass & Sass Review September 2020

Smartass & Sass is a gift and subscription service for snarky individuals and cynical a**holes. If you have a sarcastic sense of humor, love to laugh, and the mouth of a sailor, this subscription service is for you! They hand-select products from artists and small businesses and work with manufacturers to produce brand-new items that are sure to make you giggle.

What you get: Each Smartass & Sass box includes 5-7 hilarious items you are sure to love. Each Smartass & Sass box will also have a theme (e.g. That’s What She Said) and all of the items included will fit within that theme. You can expect things like mugs, notebooks, tote bags, water bottles, pens & pencils, magnets, candles, and more. They regularly survey their sassy gang to make sure they are finding the types of goods you want to get. Don’t worry, while they sometimes work with the same partners for multiple months, you’ll never get the same product twice!

When you sign up for Smartass & Sass, you’ll have three different options:

• S&S BOX Subscription – $34.95/month
• S&S BIG BOX Subscription – $49.95/month

Shipping: Boxes ship from Lincoln, Nebraska on the 18th of every month. US Shipping starts at $3.95 US and they ship internationally to Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Australia starting at $6.95 US.

September’s Theme: Every Day I’m Hustling

“This month’s box is all about that grind. We know you’re out there working hard for the money, and we respect your hustle! This month we’ll be sending sassy products to help you slay all day..”

This is a perfect box for myself or anyone else returning to work after being off due to the pandemic. I’m not afraid to work hard – so this theme is quite fitting and motivating to me!

Fierce AF Adjustable Ring – Foxy Originals

“You are strong as sh*t, lady! This adjustable ring can be customized to whichever finger you’d like (the middle one, maybe?) It is made of plated iron and has an antique-looking debossed design.”

You’re right, I am fierce AF.

I Live Beyond My Means Coin Purse – Blue Q

“Honestly, nobody could really live within my means. Especially me.”

I am really good with my money and resources, but this change purse will give my bestie a good chuckle every time she reaches for it. I adore the colour and that it is made with 95% recycled materials.

Silently Correcting Your Grammar Pouch – S&S

“We are in love with this pencil pouch! It has a flat bottom for standing up, but it’s BEST feature is the easy access to your writing tools.”

This pouch is awesome as it is useful and hilarious. I am a teacher and am always silently correcting your grammar with my fancy stationery!

Boss B!tch Washi Tape – S&S

“This washi tape has three messages: boss b!tch, get sh!t done, and killin’ it.”

A perfect washi tape to decorate my planner with or to gift to a bad ass boss babe in my life!

Carpe F*ucking Diem Sticker – S&S

Bring It On Body Scrub – Tubtonics

This body scrub smells amazing and has been a great exfoliant for my dry skin!

“You’re Like Really Pretty” Hair Ties – Happibox

“We always love a Mean Girls quote! The gold accent has a great Boho Chic feel that will look classy in your hair or on your wrist.”

I always have my long hair tied up! These hair ties are as cool as the scrunchies I always rock!

Every Day I’m Hustlin’ Travel Mug – S&S

“This 20 oz. insulated mug will be your new bestie (plus it comes in an adorable box).”

This mug is perfect since we now have to bring our own coffee to work. The colour is amazing as is the phrase.

The September Smartass & Sass box contained a detailed product card but I wanted to wait to look at it until after unboxing each item. There’s a photo of each product, some discount codes listed, product values, and the spoiler for October’s theme.

Smartass & Sass September 2020 – Final Thoughts

The September Smartass & Sass box contained eight items that fit the “Every day I’m hustling” theme perfectly! I enjoyed this month’s Smartass & Sass box because it’s contents will be and are useful, hilarious, and perfect for work (except the sticker, maybe)! My favorite items are the “Every day I’m hustlin’” travel mug, the grammar pouch, and the hair ties – but I loved all of the items! The value for this box was over $78 and the curation was awesome, like it always is! This Smartass & Sass subscription is a perfect gift for yourself or anyone who has a cheeky, fun sense of humor.
