Sock Panda designs the socks in Venice, California. They then manufacture the socks in partnership with Indutexa S.A., a family run enterprise that prides itself on treating its workers well and is the top sock manufacturer in Lima, Peru.
The socks are made from a super soft blend of 85% Peruvian cotton, 10% nylon, and 5% spandex. There is no color bleeding or shrinkage of the socks with machine washing and drying. I find the socks to fit really well. The cuff is snug enough to not slide down my calf but is not too tight. I wear a size 6 shoe for reference. Sock Panda socks are super comfortable and just the perfect thickness. The reinforced stitching on the heel and toes lead to the socks durability.
The words “Sock Panda” are on each toe.
Sock Panda’s mission to give back is represented on the sock label by a cute panda and a turtle. “Give Back” is also on the bottom of each sock. To date, the company has donated over 136,000 pairs of socks to homeless shelters, low income senior centers, hospitals, and underprivileged classrooms across the country.
This is a review of the women’s two sock subscription. Generally the box includes a pair of socks with a unique print and a pair of socks that has a fun graphic. Let’s take a closer look at the socks I got this month!
Frog Prince Socks
Isn’t this the cutest? The fun graphic this month is of frog princes (or princesses!) hanging out on lily pads. I love the colors chosen, especially the bright pop of pink on the toes! This is my new favorite pair of socks from this subscription.
Blue Frog Patterned Socks
The patterned socks this month feature blue frogs on lily pads. This pattern is so unique and adorable. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I happen to think frogs are super cute! I can’t wait to wear these the next time I go out.
Sock Panda Review March 2021 – Final Thoughts
I say this every month, but I love the socks I got! Sock Panda lived up to all expectations as usual. Generally, there isn’t really a connection between both pairs of socks, so I loved that this month the pattern and fun graphics complemented each other. Both pairs are so, so, adorable and unique. If you are looking for fun socks that could also be great conversation starters, it is definitely worth giving Sock Panda a try.
