Sweet Reads Box Review: YA Christmas Box December 2020

Annnnnnd we’re into a new week. Happy Monday, everybody! This week I’ve got two limited edition Sweet Reads Boxes to share with you. The limited edition Valentine’s Box sold out within hours of its release yesterday (!) but more stand-alone boxes will be releasing soon. First up is a novel new to both my teen and me, a November release called All I Want for Christmas by Wendy Loggia. Here’s the description from the publisher:

Neither of us has read this yet but we’re here for a holiday romance 🙋‍♀️ and it sounds heartwarming and perfect to cozy up with by the tree. (We still have our trees and our Christmas decorations up so it’s not too late to do that.)

Pure Butter Shortbread (Walkers)

Walkers shortbread is a must at Christmastime and these ones were as delicious as always. Love the festive shapes!

Hot Chocolate (Gourmet du Village)

Sweet Reads Box has tucked Gourmet du Village hot choco into a few other boxes and it’s delicious as well. My teen made no mention of sharing one of the packages with her younger bro but I’ll make sure that happens.

Dark Chocolate Mint Square (Ghiradelli)

Like an After Eight, only thicker and more fancy. Yum!!

Pez Elf

This sweet little elf comes with sugar cookie flavoured Pez. Tasty and adorable!

80 Twinkle and Shine Decorated Labels (Galison)

We love these stickers and gift labels. Tucking them away to use next year.

Little Letters of Good Cheer (Chronicle Books)

Tiny tear-out sheets that fold into an envelope shape, super cute for sharing with friends. I’m going to encourage my kiddos to drop them in their chums’ mailboxes around the neighbourhood (we’re on lockdown here in Ontario so they’re only seeing friends online).

Gingerbread Bath Bomb (CK Soak Bath Co)

And this great-smelling bath bomb! Gingerbread is perfect for the holidays and I love that this one is Canadian-made.

And there you have the YA Christmas Box! I think Sweet Reads Box did a wonderful job curating this one, from the holiday romance to the hot choco and cookies and the festive extras like the bath bomb and the little notes. It sold for $60 including shipping. (Adult limited edition boxes are typically priced at about $100.)
