Tasu Review September 2019

Tasu Self-Care Wellness box is a bi-monthly box filled with handmade and curated products from Tasu. The items focus on self-care and will help you maintain a balanced lifestyle, mentally and physically. Every month, they provide you with 4 to 6 items such as candles, healthy snacks, yoga products, creams, jewels and teas.

The box is $39.99 in Canada and $29.99 for the residents of the United States.

You will be charged an additional $7.99 for shipping for both countries and $15.99 for the rest of the world. If you prepay for 6 boxes or 12 boxes you will respectively save $1 or $2 per box.

Tasu is a petite box, but filled with so many amazing products. I can feel that they all have been placed in my box with an intention. I love the design of the box with the message: “your mindful package has arrived”. I am always excited when I get a new box (ask my coworkers), but this one has a special place in my heart because it is a reminder to take care of myself.

Tasu kindly sent me this box to review with all the products they created with care.

Let me show you what I received in the August-September Tasu box.

Jasmine Flower Green Tea

A green tea with surprising body and a captivating floral character accentuated but specially selected May Jasmine blossoms.

I felt less inclined to drink tea or infusions the last months (summer and hot drinks were not going along so well for me). But, I definitely felt a desire to go back to my daily cup of tea these past weeks. I enjoy a good cup of tea after my yoga practice and the Jasmine Flower Green Tea looks perfect for me. I especially like it for its sweet jasmine aroma and also for its properties (relieves stress, boost immune system, antioxidant, and more).

Yellow Aventurine Bracelet

Aventurine is known to balances the Yin-Yang energies, eases anxiety and expands the flow of creativity.

The properties of the yellow aventurine itself are perfect to ease our way back to work or school. Also, yellow is related to the third chakra (solar plexus) who is associated, among other things, to personal power, confidence and clarity of judgment. I will keep it near to wear it as jewelry but also for my meditation practice.

Blueberry Papaya Face Mask

Get naturally glowing skin with this antioxidant-rich face mask. Blueberry will nourish your face while papaya will help gently exfoliate your skin with its enzymes.

It works, and it smells soooo good! The blueberry and papaya mixes well and their aroma adds to the relaxing experience. My skin was smooth and felt fresh and clean after only 10 minutes. I did not feel like adding my daily moisturizer after since it hydrated so well. Important note: I have sensitive skin and had no problem with this wonderful mask.

Indian Summer Aromatherapy Mist

Cleanse your environment or just do a fall refresh of your surrounding with this citrusy relaxing mist with Grapefruit and Frankincense oils.

What a great mix! For the past few months, I have been doing yoga more often and I love it when my teacher diffuses essential oil or burns some cleansing leaves and that is something that I miss in my practice at home. I will enjoy a spray of this mist on my mat during my next practice.

Petitgrain Essential Oil

100% pure petitgrain essential oil. It is known to promote relaxing feelings. Mix a few drops in your body oil or butter for a luxurious massage.

I recently bought an oil diffuser for my bedroom and I will gladly try this essential oil for a relaxing moment. The idea of mixing it with oil for a massage is also pretty good (I will give the tip to my husband!).

I did my research on petitgrain essential oil to know more about its properties. It originates from Italy and the botanical name is Citrus aurantium. It is perfect before bed time in a diffuser or, if you don’t have one, on your pillow, bed sheet or night mask. I also read that it can be mixed with some coconut oil and applied to help reduce skin imperfections. I will try to remember that when my PMS kicks in!

Tasu Review September 2019 – Final Thoughts

The shorter and darker days of September have truly been illuminated by the Tasu August-September box. From the Yellow Aventurine bracelet that brings balance and light to the fragrant yoga mist that adds joy to my yoga practice, I feel that every item produced by Tasu were perfect for this month. I will try to stop myself at one mask per week to make the Blueberry Papaya Face Mask last (it smells so good I could almost eat it). Tasu box really is wellness delivered to your door.
