Tea Runners Review October 2024
I love a good cup of tea year-round, but it just hits differently in the fall! That’s why I was really excited to see the box from Tea Runners show up in my mailbox this month! If you’re not familiar, Tea Runners was voted the winner of the “Best Food/Drink 2024” award in our Subscription Box Awards this past summer. When I heard they were sending me a box for review, I couldn’t wait to check out the award-winning box myself.
*They kindly sent this box for review.

Unboxing the October 2024 Tea Runners
I really love that you can choose your own tea blends, and Tea Runners has an enormous assortment of options. But, it’s not overwhelming, they make it really easy to pick your favorites, by walking you through a very simple subscribe flow on their website. You can choose between a blend of flavored teas, black teas, herbal teas, or premium teas – and then they’ll guide you through popular options from there.
I received the surprise October box, which included 4 seasonal flavors as well as a packet of tea filters. I really loved their packaging! It was a unique unboxing experience that felt very fancy!
The tissue paper detail was a nice extra touch – all the way through to the gold foil printing on the tea pouches. Really lovely.
Here’s a closer look at what was included in the October 2024 Tea Runners box…
Tea Filters: This pack of 10 tea filters was an unexpected surprise! I have my own loose-leaf tea ball that I use to steep my tea, but I thought these filters were a nice addition for if this was a gift or for someone who may be new to loose-leaf tea. Very thoughtful.
Pumpkin Spice Oolong: “This outstanding and wildly memorable oolong tea is perfect for fall with its rich flavors of pumpkin and warm spice.”
I was so excited to see this one in my box! I love everything pumpkin spice (down to my shaving cream – yes, it’s a thing!) and this one was so smooth and tasty, it’s definitely one of my new favorites! I thought it had a bit of a creamy texture and just sweet enough to enjoy on its own. So good!
Blood Orange Rooibos Reserve: “Blood Orange Rooibos Reserve is made from fresh, organic, and natural ingredients. It offers a sweet, earthy aroma with bright citrus notes.”
Again, I’m a big Blood Orange fan, so this was also a hit for me. It had a nice refreshing burst of citrus, was slightly sweet, but very clean. It’s naturally caffeine-free which I appreciate for days when I don’t want the extra boost, or for late afternoon pick me ups. It’s also rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C – a nice bonus perk for this time of year!
Salty Caramel Pumpkin Black: ·“One of our most popular teas all year round, this delicious offering is a perfect accompaniment to the fall season. Oozing with sweet, salty caramel goodness and savory pumpkin.”
Oooh, this was a very rich experience! Smooth for sure, and also very bold. It includes marigold petals in the ingredients which added an interesting flavor, yet overall still very enjoyable! I was pleasantly surprised with this one because I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the marigolds. I would definitely order it again.
Mumbai Chai: “Masala Chai is a mixture of black tea and aromatic spices originating from the Indian subcontinent. This popular beverage has gained a worldwide following and can be found in today’s most prominent coffee and tea chains.”
I looove Chai tea, so I was eager to try this one when I saw it in my box! It did not disappoint! It has a black tea base and includes notes of cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and ginger. I know Tea Runners suggests not adding any additional creams or flavors to their tea, but I could not resist adding a little splash of cream to this one and it was perfection.
Tea Runners October 2024 Final Thoughts
From the beautiful packaging to the wide variety of seasonal flavors, I have to say the October Tea Runners box was an absolute smash! It’s no wonder they were our award winner this year!
The amount of tea in each pouch is generous and can definitely make multiple cups – I would estimate 8-10 per pouch probably. I love that they chose to include the tea filters as well.
A Tea Runners box would make a fantastic gift this season! From the way they package everything so beautifully, it just feels like a gift in and of itself! But I do believe they offer one-time boxes as well if you want to send a non-subscription gift.
Overall I was very pleased with the October Tea Runners box and all the delicious flavors I had the chance to try. I would absolutely recommend it for any tea lover out there – even if you don’t drink caffeine, they have herbal options and caffeine-free options as well.
Have you tried this one?
