The Gift Refinery Review Spring 2021

The Gift Refinery is a Canadian Seasonal Subscription Box delivering 7-10 full sized products they know you’ll love from Canadian Artisans & Businesses. Delivered to your door every March, June, September & December, each season promises to introduce you to lifestyle products you cannot live without! From Accessories, Bath + Body, Beauty, Fashion, Home Decor, Jewelry and Make Up. They kindly sent us this box for review.

The Gift Refinery has become one of my favorite boxes to receive for the simple reason that it is so unbelievably beautiful from beginning to end. I’ve actually included this one in my Mother’s Day Gift Guide because it’s a box I would personally LOVE to receive as a gift. It makes me so proud that this is a Canadian box because it is done so well. If you are looking for a gift for Mom, or a gift for your self, you NEED to check this one out!

Subscription Details

When you sign up for The Gift Refinery subscription you have three options to choose from, a quarterly subscription, an annual subscription or a one-time purchase.

The Gift Refinery subscription boxes will contain 7-10 quality items from the amazing Canadian artisans, brands & businesses you love! From beauty (makeup, skincare & haircare), jewelry, stationary, wellness, pantry items, housewares & more! Each luxury lifestyle box is curated by boss babe Jessica Avellino. If it isn’t something that she would love or use, she will not be sending it out to her #TGR babes.

Here’s a closer look at the items I received in the Spring The Gift Refinery box…

Samara: Vegan Leather Jewelry Box ($100)

Samara stands to create luxury vegan fashion that exudes simplicity and elegance while being eco-friendly and not posing any harm to animals. Their products offer high-end quality without luxury markups. You will receive your Samara jewelry box in one of the following surprise colors: Oat, Beige or Black.

Samara is a brand I have come to love. I’ve received a few of their beautiful products over the years and I have loved each and every one. This gorgeous little jewelry box is no exception. I love the compact size and I love the color I received. This is perfect for traveling or storing your smaller pieces. I personally use it for my stud earrings, delicate necklaces and small rings.

Cela by Celine Tadrissi: Crème Rose ($39)

Cela’s Creme Rose is deliciously aromatic with notes of sweet jasmine, peach and rosewater, and enriched with Canadian botanicals, capuacu butter and abyssinian oil. This velvety body cream hydrates and softens skin.

I have to be totally honest. I’m not a huge fan of this lotion, personally, but it’s so unbelievably beautiful that if you know someone who loves a rose scent it would make the best gift. I love the packaging, and the product itself works very well.

Paume: Antibacterial Hand Gel ($15)

PAUME is a hand sanitizer that is better for your skin and mindful of the planet. Their unique formula contains 69% ethyl alcohol to kill germs, bacteria and viruses, and a blend of nourishing and sustainable plant based emollients, and five essential oils which create a premium signature scent.

Love, love, love this pretty little bottle of hand gel. The neutral colors are speaking to me and I can’t wait to add it to my purse. I feel the need to check out the Paume website just so I can see what other pretty little products they create.

Update: I just had a peek and they sell refill kits and beautiful dispensers…..of which I need a couple of.

Blume: Beetroot Blend ($20)

Female-Founded in Vancouver, BC, Blume is on a mission to make healthy, simple. They create micro-ground blends that can be used for nourishing lattes or added to your oatmeal, smoothies, baked goods and more!

Yes! I am so happy to see this in the box. I just received a bag of this Beetroot Blend in another subscription but I am more than happy to receive it again because I have been dying to try this and I already know I am going to love it. The perfect replacement for my afternoon latte. A pretty pink beetroot latte made with oat milk!

Up and Away by M.E.: Silk Scarf ($45)

Up & Away by M.E. is a silk scarf company founded in 2019 in Toronto by Maria East. The scarves are made out of 100% silk twill, and are hand drawn by Maria herself. The Up & Away by M.E. scarves were created to add a touch of sophistication to any ensemble.

How pretty is this scarf! It has been a while since I receive something like this in any of my subscription boxes so it is much appreciated. It is also giving my some serious spring vibes. How pretty will this look tied around the handle of my favourite taupe coloured tote bag?

Daydream: Sparkling Water ($5.29)

Founded in 2019, Daydream is Canada’s first hemp and adaptogen infused sparkling water containing no sugar or caffeine. Their unique blend of ingredients work with the body’s immune system making it a go-to beverage to increase focus, reduce stress and fatigue. You will receive one surprise flavour in your box.

Such a unique beverage and one that I am looking forward to trying. I received peach ginger, which sounds really good. I’m loving that it has 0 sugar and that it includes moringa.

One Less Eco Living Co: Reusable 8oz. Glass Tumbler ($30)

One Less is a female founded Canadian brand on a mission to reduce waste from single-use products by offering beautiful, sustainable alternatives. You will receive your One Less Tumbler in one of the following surprise colors: Perfect Pink or Cool Cyan.

This pretty pink tumbler is making me so darn happy. It’s cute, compact, environmentally friendly and it will go perfectly with my new beetroot powder. A pink latte in a pretty pink tumbler…..does it get any better?!

The Gift Refinery Review Spring 2021 – Final Thoughts

Words cannot express how much I love The Gift Refinery boxes. Each one is beautiful, unique and filled with the BEST products. I love the brands they work with, I love the variety of items, and I love the fact that I always discover a new favorite. This season I am loving the Paume Hand Gel, the Blume Beetroot Powder and the tumbler. Those would be my top picks, but with that being said I can safely say that I love ALL of the products we received. I truly think this is one of the best boxes for gifting…..even if it’s a gift to yourself. I won’t tell:)
