Here’s a closer look at the items we received in the November The Innocent Baker box….
Most of the ingredients to make Harvest Biscotti are included in the box and they are measured out already so all you have to do is start putting it together! Found in the box this month is flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, sugar, anise seed, gingerbread whiskey, crystallized ginger, dried cranberries, walnuts, Callebaut white chocolate, coconut oil and parchment paper.
The only ingredients that you have to provide yourself are butter, eggs, zest of lemon and a zest of orange.
This month’s surprise essential baking tool that was included in the box was a bench scraper. Used in pastry, bread and dough making, this makes getting the dough off a work surface so easy! It’s also a great tool to portion out the dough with its edge.
The Innocent Baker Review November 2019 – Final Thoughts
The biscotti was a tasty indulgence that got our whole family in the holiday mood! With the perfect blend of sweetness and spice, this biscotti complemented my chai tea. Since all of the ingredients were measured out already in the box, holiday baking was made so easy this month!
