The Literary Book Club is a quarterly book subscription box. Every quarter, they will send you a gorgeous collectible edition of a classic book, plus a selection of thoughtful gifts to make your experience magical. They kindly sent us this box to review.

Subscription Details

The Literary Book Club subscription costs $74.99 each quarter, plus $11.95 shipping to the US. International subscriptions are available via their Etsy store.

Each themed box contains a gorgeous collectible edition book, plus a selection of thoughtfully curated gifts to enhance your experience. Each gift will arrive wrapped and numbered with page numbers to open as you read. You can expect to receive a variety of useful lifestyle gifts, self care luxury products, items bibliophiles will adore, and other lovely surprises.

Joining the Literary Book Club Box will also get you exclusive access to their private book club Facebook group for subscribers, where you can discuss your experience of the classics with other literary fans. Inside the group, you’ll find great conversation, and bonuses like giveaways only for subscribers.

The Romantic Poets Chiltern Edition

Each box always includes a beverage or snack item for you to enjoy while reading. This box contains a mix for strawberry mule where you can add your own vodka, water, and ice to make your very own cocktail. I am so excited to try this!

Bonus Gift: Heart Hair Clip

There is also a bonus gift of the cutest little heart shaped hair clip. Not quite my style, but I can see using this as a bookmark.

Keats: Mint Chocolate Chip Truffles

Dark chocolate and mint – the best combination. Also, how adorable is the packaging that looks just like mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Coleridge: Blind Date with a Book

This is such a fun element of surprise. The book included is pre-owned and comes pre-wrapped from a small woman-owned business so everyone may be getting a different book. The hints on mine says military fiction, mystery, crime, and action, how exciting!

Final Thoughts

The Literary Book Club did not disappoint as usual. This is my favourite subscription to unbox, just because it is such an experience to unwrap all these gifts. It is like receiving a bunch of gifts all at once! The classic book featured is always gorgeous and this month’s book is no different with its beautiful gilded edges and thick glossy paper. The items included are so thoughtfully selected too. I loved everything, and my favourites are the earrings and necklace DIY kit. It is no wonder these boxes sell out so quickly!
