I was so excited to review December’s The Naked Beauty Box as I am finding their products so gentle and amazing for my skin!

The Naked Beauty Box arrives in beautiful floral packaging with leaves, lovely colours, and the phrases, “Love the skin you’re in” and “Beauty begins with you” written on the sides.

Let’s take a look inside:

The product card was a paper pamphlet with product photos, names, descriptions, and MRSP prices.

Nourish & Co Scar Ointment ($14)

“This is the natural way to prevent scars and to soften those you already have! This oil blend was purposefully curated based on its healing properties. Safe to use on everyone!”

We received a Nourish & Co Spot Treatment last month and it was awesome! I have been using this scar ointment on a few scars I picked up this summer and am hopeful about the results. This roller smells amazing, as it contains lavender and sandalwood.

Plant-Based Beauty Heal & Glow Facial Serum ($24)

“Intense hydration for softer and smoother skin overnight. Our cold-pressed superfood Moringa oil provides nutrients to instantly take your skin to a new level of soft & smooth.”

This is Plant-Based Beauty’s best selling serum! We received a mask by this brand last month and I loved it. This serum claims to soften and hydrate damaged, dry skin, as well as brighten dull skin, renew skin cells and clear scars, to provide a healthy & glowing complexion. I love any product that contains moringa and am seeing great results so far with its use.

Limese Real Brightening & Glow up Face Mask ($3)

“Your one-stop-shop for all your masking needs. Enriched with a multitude of revitalizing natural ingredients (Neem, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid etc.), this charcoal mask ensures that nothing can be better than black!”

This is a repeat product from the September 2020 The Naked Beauty Box, but it is one I enjoyed using! The packaging of this mask is gorgeous. I used this mask after a shower and it left my skin dewy and luminous…perfect for a pre-selfie skincare routine!

Gypsy Soul Organics Exfoliate – Lavender Flower Facial ($42)

“Looks like water, acts like water, but you know it’s so much more. EXFOLIATE is a 100% natural solution to slough away dead skin to reveal a fresh, smooth complexion. Gently remove impurities for softer, brighter, more even-toned skin.”

There was a note on the product card stating that this product was specifically put into a plastic bottle vs. their regular glass bottle, and it is not a big deal to me. After researching this product a bit more, I was excited to try it as it is packed with superfruit acids (for gentle face exfoliation) and nutrient-packed prebiotics to help minimize the appearance of pores without drying out or dehydrating the skin. After using this a few days I noticed that my skin appeared smooth, brighter and glowy.

Down To Earth Organix – Luxury Rose Infused Bath Soak ($9)

“Use as a ritual bath soak to promote feelings of peace, love and happiness. Himalayan pink salt works to help remove toxins and impurities from the skin as it evaporates in the steamy tub air. The rose petals added have cooling healing properties that can soothe dry irritated skin. Rose petals contain natural oils which can help retain the moisture in your skin.”

This luxury rose bath soak was super enjoyable to use. It did help me calm and relax after a busy day, and I felt at peace when I was done in the bathtub.

The December 2020 The Naked Beauty Box contained five full-size products and the estimated retail value of this box is $92! This was a great The Naked Beauty Box to receive in time for use over my Christmas break from teaching. I am familiar with a few of the brands included in the box this month as we have received their products in previous boxes, and a repeat product from September’s box, but there were still two new brands for me to discover. I also love that all of the products included are clean which is so important to me. My favourite items are the PlantBased Beauty Heal & Glow Facial Serum and the Luxury Rose Bath Soak! The Naked Beauty Box is the perfect subscription for someone who appreciates trying clean, cruelty-free, and vegan skincare products!
