The Story of Perfume Box Review December 2016

The Story of Perfume Box by Harvey Prince is a monthly fragrance subscription. Each monthly box comes with two private blend, luxe Harvey Prince perfumes available only in The Story of Perfume. These exclusive 7ml roller ball fragrances are made of only the finest essential oils & highest-quality natural ingredients. They kindly sent us this box to review.

Are you familiar with Harvey Prince Organics? If not, you should be. I discovered this brand thanks to my subscription boxes, and have become obsessed with it. Their perfumes are amazing. It’s one of only two fragrance brands I will wear. And….what’s even more exciting is that they have their own subscription box – The Story of Perfume Box.

Today we are looking at the December box, and it’s kind of a unique box. As a special gift for their subscribers they included a full size (50 ml) bottle of their Skinny Chic perfume. Let’s have a closer look……

Skinny Chic by Harvey Prince

One of our most popular perfumes for women, Skinny Chic is blended with delicious, energizing notes of crisp green apple, zesty grapefruit, light bergamot, clean mint, and spicy fennel. Research shows these scents help reduce food cravings by triggering a sense of being satisfied!

This is such a pretty fragrance. I don’t know how they do it, but I always end up loving all of their scents. Skinny Chic is light and fresh, with just a tiny bit of sweetness. And… cool is it that they sent subscribers a full-size bottle! It has a value of $57 which is more than double the cost of the box itself.

Sincerely Body Cream

An intensely moisturizing and deeply nourishing blend of Shea butter and sweet almond oil, combined with extracts of French bergamot and South African freesia, Sincerely Body Cream brings out your body’s natural luster, giving you silky smooth skin all day long. Infused with Harvey Prince Sincerely perfume.

Harvey Prince body cream is my favourite. This is the only time I get excited about travel-sized creams. They are so good I will take whatever I can get. My all-time favourite is their “Hello” body cream. It smells SO good. I need a lifetime supply.

Ageless by Harvey Prince

Inspired by scientific research and crafted with love, Ageless by Harvey Prince defies your skin’s natural age-revealing scent. Its notes are an inviting blend of pink grapefruit, pomegranate, luscious mango, with a dry down of jasmine and natural musk.

I really, really, really wish I was better at describing scents. This one is so pretty, and so unique. I can definitely smell the grapefruit, but it’s not overpowering. There’s something else really nice that I am smelling, but I can’t put my finger on it. You will just have to take my word for it……it is gorgeous.

Here’s a couple little extra items. Festive and fun!

The Story of Perfume Box Review December 2016 – Final Thoughts

I am VERY impressed with the December The Story of Perfume Box. The value is at least triple the cost of the box, and that is pretty amazing. I love that they included a full-size bottle. What a nice little Christmas gift for their subscribers. I like to see subscription boxes throw in bonus items or surprise items from time to time. It shows that they care about their subscribers. Personally I am a HUGE fan of this subscription box, and this brand. I am being 100% honest when I say I love their perfume. How can I not….it’s cruelty free, vegan, gluten-free, and it all smells amazing. So far my favourite is Bailando, I wear it on a regular basis. But I would honestly recommend any of their fragrances, and that says a lot about their brand because I am SUPER picky when it comes to perfume. I am already looking forward to their January box, and the February box, and the March box…… get the point.
