Think Outside Boxes Review: Junior Intro Box

Think Outside Boxes is a monthly subscription box full of outdoor gear and resources that will get your kids away from a screen and outside exploring nature! Give your kids lifelong skills that encourage exploration & independence with Think Outside Boxes! They kindly sent us this box for review.

When you sign up for Think Outside Boxes, whether it be the regular box or junior box, your child will receive the Intro Box for their first month. Today we are having a look at the Junior Intro Box.

Subscription Details

Think Outside Boxes has 2 subscription options to choose from….

Think Outside Jr. is designed for children ages 4 – 7, while their regular Think Outside program is best suitable for ages 7 – 16+. Depending on the interests of your child and parent involvement, the regular Think Outside program can also be interesting for younger children. The Think Outside Jr. focuses on the What & Why questions of nature and making it fun for kids to play outside and the regular Think Outside program is designed to help children gain confidence in the outdoors with our challenges and education with quality outdoor gear that can grow with them.

Here’s a closer look at the Junior Intro Box…..

Here we have a letter describing the Junior Intro Box and how your new Think Outside Boxes subscription will work. It tells us that the Intro Box sets the foundation for spending time outdoors.

It also introduces us to Sam, Sky, Stella and Santos. They will joins us on our adventure for the course of the year.

This booklet goes into more detail about we can expect for the year ahead and it also tells us what we have received in our Intro Box.

So you can carry other gear, snacks, water, and items you’ll find on your adventures.

Because communication is important when exploring outside.

To hold all your badges and memories (and to test out your fun pen).

Outdoor Bingo & Dry Erase Crayons

Let’s see who can get a bingo first! Rules are in the booklet.

Flash Cards & Ring

You will receive cards in all monthly boxes going forward. Use the ring to hold them all together.

Activity Postcard & Checklist

I love, love, love this list of things to do before the next box arrives. It’s like a bucket list for your little one.

Explorer Badge

Each box includes a badge which your little one can put in their Explorer Pass booklet.

Think Outside Boxes Review: Junior Intro Box

This is my first time receiving the Junior Box from Think Outside Boxes and I love it. The Junior Box is for ages 4 – 7 and it’s a great way to get you little one excited about exploring the great outdoors. Our Intro Box includes some really fun items that set the foundation for the year ahead. I love the walkie talkies and the satchel, both items will be fun for your little to use and can be incorporated into all your boxes going forward. Think Outside Boxes would make a really great Christmas gift!
