Vegancuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription that brings you the best in vegan beauty. Each box invites you to discover the best skincare, haircare, bodycare, and makeup from clean, cruelty-free brands, no bunnies harmed!

They kindly sent us this box to review.

Subscription Details

There are 4 subscription plan options for the Vegancuts Beauty Box – monthly, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. Monthly subscriptions cost $27.95, with savings for those opting for any of the longer term subscriptions. Shipping is free for US subscribers, $6.95 for Canadians, and $14.95 for international subscribers. A portion of sales from each box will go towards supporting a chosen animal sanctuary.

Each box contains 4 or more deluxe or full-sized beauty products ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare, valued at $50 or more. The expert Vegancuts curator vets each beauty brand to ensure that only clean, cruelty free, and conscious brands are included in the box. Beauty products are always vegan, paraben-free, and free of harmful chemicals.

If you are a subscriber to the Vegancuts Snack Box, both subscriptions will ship together with the Beauty Box items packed in a reusable linen bag.

Let’s take a closer look at the April box themed “Beauty in Bloom”.

Authentic Beauty Concept Dry Shampoo – $11

“This dry shampoo texturizes and refreshes styles. It helps to dress out and define natural textures and lived-in looks without overburdening. Shake the bottle well and spray eight inches in distance from the scalp to dry hair. Use in short bursts and tousle with fingers.”

We have been receiving several items from this brand in this subscription over the past months, and this time around it is their dry shampoo. I use dry shampoo to refresh my hair quite often because I don’t always have time for a wash. I really enjoyed this one, it does not leave a white residue on my dark hair and has a nice floral fragrance.

Evolue Hydrating Serum

The bonus item this month is a hydrating serum. I have tried items from this brand in the past and liked them, this serum is no different. It was moisturizing and did not leave behind a sticky residue.

Ada Lip Beauty Lip Rally Lip Scrub – $16

“An exfoliating, nourishing vegan lip scrub made from natural sugar beads, cocoa seed butter, shea oil, and jojoba oil to rejuvenate and hydrate your lips. Gently swipe back and forth across the lips 2-3x. Let the sugar crystals dissolve or wipe away.”

I love the packaging for this! Much prefer having my lip scrub in a tube form then a pot where I have to dig my fingers in.

Owl in a Towel Balsam Fir Hand Cream – $11

“This rich, nourishing and fast-absorbing hand cream is welcome relief for raw, chapped hands and wrists. Moisture is restored without leaving hands greasy. Apply a generous amount to nourish hands.”

First off, this has got to be the cutest brand name! A good hand cream is always welcome here. Bonus when it has a nice scent like this one, which smells of pine and evergreen.

EqualRXN Oat Milk PHA Serum – $28

“This milky serum hydrates and gently exfoliates to give a more refined, even, and glowy skin complexion. It also helps to calm and visually plump the appearance of the skin. Use 1-2 pumps and massage into dry skin after toning.”

This serum contains skin loving ingredients such as lactobionic acid, oat milk complex, and snow mushroom. It is definitely hydrating and plumping, even though a tad thick and sticky. Will be saving this for nighttime use when I need that extra hydration.

Final Thoughts

This month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box is a winner for me. I really enjoyed trying out and using everything in the box. My favourites this month are the balsam fir hand cream and Evolue serum. There is a wide variety of products, with skincare items for the face, hands, and hair. Everything was either full or travel sized, which is so generous. No teeny tiny samples here!
