February Box Details ($76 total value)
“The February Beauty Box: Flowers, Gems & Fragrant Stems
This special box is designed to bring the magic and sweetness of February to you. You’ll get to discover products that contain healing and clearing properties that will soothe and delight the senses. Included is a gemstone and flower-infused facial serum from Chiky Botanica along with a room and body smudge spray with sage and sandalwood essences from Balanced Guru. These along with 2 other products are worth over $75.”
Here’s a look at what’s in the February Vegancuts Beauty Box:
Chiky Botanica – Serene Serum ($56)
“Key ingredients include blue tansy with its healing benefits and lapis lazuli gem essence used for releasing stress and bringing peace. Apply this calming facial serum to restore and regenerate skin. Gently massage into cleansed, toned skin morning and night.”
This serum is so beautiful with it’s deep green color! It smells beautiful too, definitely like blue tansy, which is like a sweet and floral citrus aroma – very uplifting and calming. It’s said to calm and soothe irritated, red, uneven, blemish prone or tired skin. Definitely have a mix of those problems so I look forward to trying this one out. Especially since it not only calms the skin but the senses too, love a multi-tasking product!
Balanced Guru – Room & Body Smudge Spray ($10)
“A wonderful, smokeless smudge alternative for clearing energy and setting intentions. Sage, Sandalwood, and Lavender essential oils infused with leaves and flowers for use as room or body spray. Spray, as needed, into the air or onto the body to energetically cleanse, restore and refresh. Finish by setting intentions of love and happiness. Use daily or as needed.”
This is a really cute concept. I love room sprays and the incorporation of the dried florals along with it’s intended use for ritual setting or meditation. Unfortunately it smells too strongly for me so I probably won’t use this one much.
Pacifica – Glowing Glycolic Acid, Orange & Vanilla Makeup Remover Wipes ($5)
“Not just great at removing make-up, these wipes brighten and exfoliate, removing dull skin for a radiant glow. Gently wipe away make-up, oils and impurities on face and neck, avoiding eyes. Those with sensitive skin can use it once or twice a week.”
I never use makeup wipes, but I suppose they aren’t a bad thing to have handy for times when off of normal routine. These do sound like they’d be gentle on skin and of course smell good with their orange vanilla scent. Maybe they’d be good for tucking in a gym/yoga bag for on-the-go.
Ellovi – Lip Butter (Original or Blossom) ($5)
“Handmade by women, this delicious lip butter only contains 6 ingredients, all ethically sourced and 100% pure plant-based. Fast absorbing, non-greasy, perfect for healing cuts and damaged lips. Apply directly to lips as needed throughout the day for soft, smile ready, kissable lips.”
You can never have too many lip balms! Especially during the dry months of winter. Out of the two options to receive, I got the Blossom Lip Butter. It smells bright and cheery from the addition of tangerine oil and chamomile oil. It’s colorless and sheer, so perfect for everyday use.
Vegancuts Beauty Box Review February 2021 – Final Thoughts
This is a fun collection of products for this month’s Vegancuts Beauty Box! Usually there are 5 items, so there is one less than normal, but it doesn’t mean there is any less value or interest! In fact, I really like the face serum especially and can’t wait to try it out and it’s the highest value item. I have eyed the Chiky Botanica brand before so enjoy when their items show up in subscription boxes. I’d definitely say all the items included inspire self love for your senses and your skin so everything is perfect for a Valentine’s Day gift for yourself!
