June Box Details

“June Snack Box – Craveable Sips & Bites: Goodies You’ll Want Again & Again! From birthday parties to picnics in the park, we’re missing the smiles and embraces of our friends and family, and everything else that comes with it. I curated June’s Vegancuts Snack Box with that in mind – things we craved during these long days at home. We included Sea Salt Crackers and Avocado Crisps: the perfect vehicle for guacamole or garlicky hummus. We also threw in one of my favorite new things, a single-serve coffee that brews like tea. Steep it in your favorite cup and treat yourself to a birthday cake blondie. Give yourself, and those closest to you, a hug from us!”

Here’s a look at what’s in the June Vegancuts Snack Box:

Navitas Organics Matcha Latte Drink Mix

It’s awesome to get a full sized box of this drink mix. I saw there were two options I could have received and the other option was a turmeric latte mix and I’m really bummed I didn’t receive that one instead. I don’t drink caffeine so the matcha blend doesn’t work for me. I might still try it because it sounds interesting, but I would have gotten more use out of the other drink. Alas, I know it’s a toss up of what you’ll receive when there are multiple varieties, that’s the nature of the surprise element of subscription boxes. I do really like the convenience of these (there are 10 individual packets for on the go) and that the ingredients are organic so I’ll just have to buy the other one myself!

Btw Meals Shelled Pumpkin Seeds

What a cute little snack pack! I love pumpkin seeds and like to put them on anything from yogurt to salads so I’ll for sure be eating these right up. These have a hint of brown sugar and salt added so I bet they are delicious on their own too.

Iota Roasted Sunflower Kernels

I equally love sunflower seeds and also add them to many things. I’ll likely eat these with some almond butter and apples (that’s been a go-to lately). This little snack pack is great for taking on the go for eating by themselves too. These just have a bit of pink Himalayan salt added and the sunflower seeds are organic.

Purity Coffee – Coffee Sachet

This is a really unique idea that I’m surprised I don’t see more of. It’s like a tea bag, but for coffee. I don’t drink coffee unfortunately, so I won’t be trying these, but I’m sure my husband will think it’s a cool idea and will make his morning coffee prep a lot quicker and more convenient. I do love that the coffee is organic and that the sachet is biodegradable and the packet is recyclable.

Top Seedz

These are like crackers but made from seeds. They’d make a good replacement for anyone avoiding gluten or other things typically found in crackers. These look like they would taste great on their own but would also be delicious with some hummus or dip. I like that they are made with really simple, clean and healthy ingredients.

Liv Bar Lemongrass Cherry Matcha

I’ve seen these bars before and have always wanted to try them! Their flavors always sound scrumptious, especially this bar. I generally avoid matcha for drinking purposes but occasionally have it in a bar like this and it’s tasty. This bar is made with all organic ingredients like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, dates, flaxseed, cherries, matcha and cinnamon. It’s a superfood snack bar that’s great for on-the-go.

Rule Breaker Birthday Cake Blondie Bar

This sounds so delicious! And it’s got a secret ingredient: chickpeas. There is no gluten in this blondie, it gets it’s base from the chickpeas and has some white chocolate and sprinkles added to give it that birthday cake flavor and feel. There is a bit of sugar in this so it’s still a treat to me (not an everyday snack), but it will be fun to try and and see what the chickpea taste and texture is like in a dessert form.

Zellee Organic Fruit Jel

I’m so intrigued by this item! It looks like on of those applesauce or fruit purees from the outside but I think it’s more jelly/jello-like. It’s made with konjac to give it the jel texture instead of traditional gelatin. There is no added sugar and it’s made with real fruit. The flavor sounds fantastic so I’m really curious to try this one out.

Hippie Snacks Avocado Crisps

These sound really interesting. They are like a cracker but made with avocado as the main ingredient along with coconut milk, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and a few other ingredients. They’re flavored with lime juice, black pepper and cayenne so it’s like having guacamole in crispy form that you could scoop up more guacamole with haha. Sounds delicious to me!

Clear/Cut Phocus Blood Orange Caffeinated Sparkling Water

The flavor of this beverage sounds really refreshing and tasty to me, but I since I don’t drink caffeine I likely won’t be trying this one. It’s a cool concept though that they infused traditional sparkling water with caffeine from green tea and L-theanine. It would be a great energy drink replacement that’s not full of sugar and other weird ingredients (there’s zero sugar and only a few ingredients overall).

Dang Coconut Chips Chocolate Sea Salt

I love Dang Bars but haven’t tried these Coconut Chips yet. They sound and look delicious so it’s awesome to get a full sized pack of them. I’m glad they are the chocolate flavor too as I love chocolate flavored anything. There is a bit of sugar added to these chips, which I’m sure makes them extra delicious, but also more like a treat too. These would be great on their own but sound tasty for a yogurt, oatmeal or ice cream topping. I’ll have to try them on each!

Koochikoo Organic Lollipops

No sugar added lollipops?!? I have to know what these taste like. They are sweetened only with organic tapioca fiber which also ensures there is 5g of fiber in each pop. They are flavored with natural flavors and colored with fruits and vegetables. The flavor combos sound delish, especially the blueberry lemon – yum! Love that these are organic and that there are 10 lollipops in the pack – what a deal!

Vegancuts Snack Box Review June 2020 – Final Thoughts

This was such a good box this month! I think there was an item or two more than normal, so that makes this one a great value too. Plus several items were full sized – even better! The only downside for me is that there seemed to be more caffeinated items than usual which I usually never mind when it’s just one or so a month (since like I mentioned I don’t drink caffeine). It would have been great if these items were spread out over the next couple of boxes and instead something like an herbal tea came along in it’s place. Not a big deal, since I know most of the rest of the world consumes caffeine on the reg, just a personal preference. Regardless, I’m actually really excited about all the other snacks as they nearly all fit within a few diet restrictions I temporarily have right now so I’ll be testing them all out right away. I love discovering new snack brands and trying out things I’ve eyed before so I can’t wait to see what fun snacks are sent out in next month’s Vegancuts Snack Box!
