Vegancuts Snack Box Review March 2022

Vegancuts Snack Box is a monthly subscription that brings you the best vegan snacks, meal items, and drinks. Each box is packed to the brim with sweet and savory vegan snacks to help you discover the best in plant-based living. They kindly sent us this box to review.

Subscription Details

There are 4 subscription plan options for the Vegancuts Snack Box – monthly, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. Monthly subscriptions cost $24.95 for United States subscribers, $31.90 for Canadians, and $39.90 for international subscribers, with savings for those opting for any of the longer term subscriptions. Shipping is free for US subscribers, and included in the cost of the box for all other customers.

Each box contains 10 or more vegan food products such as chips, cookies, sodas, and tea. The expert Vegancuts curator selects food products that not only are made with healthy ingredients, but also on the cutting edge of the latest vegan trends. Vegancuts boxes are about 80% gluten free and include many snacks that are non-GMO project verified and certified organic.

“The theme for the March box is Springtime Superfoods, Sweets and Snacks. We stepped into spring with an 11 item box filled with superfoods, sweets, and savory snacks. It was full of zen, hippie, and magick vibes- that pleased all your senses. It was an 100% gluten-free box with some ceremonial sips that delighted your taste buds. We know you were fueled by coffee & chocolate, while munchin, crunchin & dippin.”

The included product card tells us that proceeds from this month’s Vegancuts Snack Box will support Uncle Neil’s Home, a farm sanctuary in Mantua, New Jersey. Just look at those two cuties!

Let’s take a closer look at the box:

Kibo Lentil Chips: Maui Onion

“High protein, low carb, and yummy – a win all around.”

I am a big fan of potato chips, and love that here is a healthier alternative! The onion flavour is yummy and there is also a more basic sea salt variety that subscribers could have received.

The YES Bar Coffee n’ Chocolate Bar

“Tastes like a cookie, but with less sugar than an apple – definitely a YES.”

Coffee and chocolate are my two favourite flavours, and this bar combines the best of both. This is the perfect mid-morning snack.

Hippie Snacks Cauliflower Original Crisps

“Neither a cracker, nor a chip, this crisp is a great dipper for hummus, salsas, or guac.”

These crisps are so good either with a dip or eaten on its own.

Wild Remedies Almond Lavender Dream and Spiced Chocolate Magick Lattes

“Magick in a cup, this lavender dream latte boasts major zen vibes.”

These are some interesting latte flavours for sure! I much prefer the spiced chocolate over the lavender, but that is because I am not usually a fan of lavender flavour in foods.

Bakery on Main Decadent Monster Cookie Granola

“Decadent and delicious, this sweet snack is great alone of as a topping.”

These are amazing as a topping on my morning oatmeal. I also love snacking on them straight out of the bag.

Hippeas Bohemian BBQ Puffs

“Did you know chickpeas naturally release nitrogen back into the earth as they grow?”

These are seriously addictive. I love anything BBQ flavoured, and could easily eat an entire pack of this in no time if I let myself.

Noka Superfood Smoothie: Strawberry Pineapple

“This brand uses organic fruits + veggies that are deemed ugly, and would otherwise go to waste.”

Subscribers will receive either this variation or the mango coconut. Now this is going to sound weird, but I really do not like smoothies. Something about the texture I think. This is something my husband will enjoy though.

Explore Cuisine Organic Bean Pasta: Edamame Spaghetti

“No sluggish feeling after eating a pasta made with these high-protein noodles.”

This is a healthier alternative to spaghetti, but not a hit in my house. We still prefer the texture and flavour of regular pasta so this is something I will pass along.

Oskri Coconut Dark Chocolate Bar

This bar is not listed on the product card, so I assume it is a substitute for another item. Not that I mind though because the flavours of this bar sound absolutely amazing.

Pig Out Pigless Pork Rinds: Texas BBQ

Now this is the item I am most excited about. I am admittedly a big fan of pork rinds, but have since stopped buying them in trying to eat a healthier plant-based diet. These are not quite like the actual thing, but that doesn’t make them taste any less delicious or enjoyable.

Vegancuts Snack Box Review March 2022 – Final Thoughts

This is my first time trying out a Vegancuts Snack Box and I thoroughly enjoyed it! There is quite a variety of snacks and foods included, all of which I am excited to try. My favourites are the chips and crisps included, and also the chocolate flavoured snacks. There were a couple items that missed the mark for me, but I think that is the entire purpose of a box like this. It allows for a sampling of a variety of products without committing to full sized packs, and I have already discovered a few new favourite snacks.
