The March Vegancuts Snack Box is “Celebrating Female Foodie Founders” to celebrate International Women’s Day. Proceeds from the box will support the Runaway Farm in Bayville, New Jersey.

“In March, we were excited to introduce you to several woman-founded snack brands that inspired us. We made meals fun with delicious cheezy crackers from Green Mustache, enjoyed crunchy cookies from Allergy Smart, and nibbled on jackfruit chips from Ting’s Chips. Last month’s box had a total of 10 items that were packed with flavor. From upcycled cinnamon twists to valerian root tea to healthy banana bread crisps, we know you didn’t get bored with last month’s exciting lineup. Hope you had an amazing International Women’s Day!”

Let’s take a closer look at everything in the box.

Pipcorn Upcycled Cinnamon Sugar Twists

“A childhood classic reimagined and made from upcycled corn flour.”

I had to look up what upcycled flour meant, and with Pipcorn, it simply means that these chips are made from corn flour that is left from production of their cheese balls. Such a great idea to reduce waste! These corn chips are the perfect lightly sweet snack.

Green Mustache Mustache Munchies “Parmesan” Rosemary Crackers

“Mustache-shaped snack with enough flavor to get your taste buds rolling.”

This one is a miss for me. I do not like cheese and this was just really cheesy. I gave them to my husband who thought the rosemary was also on the strong side.

Pizootz Baja Taco Peanuts

“Peanuts that are infused with flavor, so all that taste without the messy hands.”

I love flavored peanuts but hate the greasy sticky mess they always leave. These are flavor infused and do not have that problem. Yes, please!

Allergy Smart Chocolate Chip and Birthday Cake Cookies

“These cookies are top 10 allergy free and taste like homemade baked goodies.”

Love the idea of allergen free cookies. These are quite yummy with a shortbread like texture. I much prefer the chocolate chip over the birthday cake flavor because I found the birthday cake to be a tad too sweet.

Bakery on Main Monster Cookie Granola

“Mouthwatering gluten-free granola perfect for a quick breakfast or midday snack.”

We get a pack of Bakery on Main granola every month in different flavours, this month it is a pack of these cranberry almond maple granola that are more like mini cereal pieces. It is a fun little snack for a mid-day treat.

Nairn’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Oat Grahams

“Tasty gluten-free grahams that are the perfect pair to your favorite hot or cold drink.”

I really loved these! Think graham crackers but with a touch of oat and chocolate. I think they go so well with a nice hot cup of coffee.

Ting’s Jackfruit Chips

“Light, semi-sweet snack with an airy crunch made with only 2 ingredients!”

Fresh jackfruit is actually one of my favorite snacks, so it is quite interesting to see it in a dried version. It is slightly sweet, reminiscent of an apple chip. I really liked this as an alternative, especially when the fresh version is quite hard to come by if you don’t have access to a grocery store with a good selection of exotic fruits.

Rishi Tea Organic Valerian Dream Tea Blend

“Sweet dreams with this calming organic caffeine-free tea.”

This tea contains valerian that is said to help with sleep. I’m usually exhausted after a long day keeping up with an active toddler and have no issues falling asleep within seconds, so it is rather hard for me to test out that claim haha.

Wild Remedies Almond Lavender Dream Magick Latte

This is not listed on the info card, so must be the bonus item for me this month. This is a drink blend consisting of passion flower, lavender, and chamomile extracts, again to help with relaxation and sleep. Stir in warm water and frothed milk to prepare. I love a good tea latte and found this really enjoyable with the hints of almond and slightly sweet vanilla.

Hippie Snacks Banana Bread Crisps

“Hard to believe these sweet chips are made out of mostly bananas!”

This is basically banana bread in chip form as promised! I still prefer an actual slice of banana bread of course, but this is such fun to eat and a great idea.

Kibo Spicy Ranch Lentil Chips

“Enhance any packed lunch with these protein and fiber spicy lentil chips.”

Chips flavored with spicy ranch seasoning. I found these quite enjoyable but could use some more heat.

Final Thoughts

There are more hits than misses for me this month (really, the only miss are the parmesan rosemary crackers). My favorites are the banana bread crisps, chocolate oat grahams, and Pizootz peanuts. If I had one complaint, it would be that this month’s box for me leaned rather heavy on the sweet side and I found myself wishing for more savory snacks. Overall, another fun box filled to the brim with goodies from Vegancuts.
