“Last month, we stepped into spring with a 10 item box- filled with a variety of sweet and salty snacks. We had superfood puffs from Live Kuna, a keto-friendly cookie from ChipMonk Baking, and better-for-you gummies from HappyCandy. We also had mushroom chips, cheese balls, macadamia nuts, and more- all perfect snacks for a springtime picnic, hike or park day.”

Let’s take a closer look at everything in the box.

Kuna Pops! Quinoa & Chia

This is a puff-type snack made with quinoa and chia. The tomato and basil flavour really remind me of a pizza!

Outstanding Cheese Balls

I am not a fan of cheese snacks, but my husband says they taste really similar to regular cheese balls and that he enjoys them.

Popadelics Crunchy Mushroom Chips

I think this is such a fun idea. I love mushrooms and think I would have really enjoyed these if they came in a different flavour (just do not like cheesy flavours especially stronger ones like parm, sorry!)

Bakery on Main White Chip Raspberry Swirl Granola

We always get a pack of granola from Bakery on Main, this month’s selection is the white chip raspberry. These are always a nice crunchy topping to oatmeal or cereal.

Bakery on Main Apple Pie Instant Oatmeal

We also got a pack of instant oatmeal from this brand. I loved getting to try something else from Bakery on Main besides their granola!

Chip Monk Chocolate Chipmonk Keto Cookie

These are chocolate chip cookies made with almond flour and sweetened with monk fruit instead of sugar. It’s a good option if you are following a keto diet or want a gluten free cookie option.

Emmy’s Organics Soft & Chewy Coconut Cookie

These are my favourite in the box this month! It’s chewy, coconut-y, and very chocolatey. I have got to find out where I can buy more of these.

Joolies Pitted Medjool Dates

I don’t enjoy snacking on dates as is and much prefer using them in a recipe, but for those that do this is a nice convenient little snack pack.

House of Macadamias Dry Roasted Macadamia

My other favourite this month are these dry roasted macadamias. Lightly salted, with a hint of black pepper, you really can’t go wrong with simple flavours like this.

Wiley Wallaby Watermelon Licorice

I think these are a repeat from a previous box. I found the watermelon flavour to be a little too strong for my taste.

Daily Dose of Happy Candies

Of the two candy selections this month, I much preferred these gummy candies lightly flavoured with raspberry. I just love the natural fruity flavour.

Final Thoughts

Some hits and misses this month, but overall I still really enjoyed trying everything. My favourites from The May Vegancuts Snack Box are the salted macadamias and Emmy’s chocolate coconut cookie. I also enjoyed the raspberry gummy candies and Joolies dates. I understand you can’t please everyone when it comes to food, which makes subscriptions like this so useful! You can try a small sample pack before committing to purchasing a full sized package.
