The weather has cooled down, the leaves are falling, and all I want to do is cozy up inside the house. Let’s see if the October snacks live up to the theme of the month…..

Here’s a closer look at the October Vegancuts Snack Box….

Crazy Go Nuts Oatmeal Cookie Walnuts

I love oatmeal cookies but try to stay away from baked goods if possible. Therefore, these walnuts are sounding really good to me right now. They are of course made with sugar, which I try to limit, so these will be saved for a treat day.

Miracle Tree Tumeric Tea Box

I have received Miracle Tree beverages before. They have a really great selection of superfood teas. This one is Turmeric. Pair that with Moringa, the world’s most nutrient-dense superfood, and you have a really great tea on your hands.

Foods Alive Nutritional Yeast

I am always happy to receive nutritional yeast as I use it on a regular basis. It’s a great source of vitamin B and it is great for adding flavour to roasted veggies, salads and soups.

Teecino Pumpkin Spice & Snickerdoodle Tea Bags

This is a fun little sample of fall flavoured teas. We received Boutique Pumpkin Spice and Snickerdoodle. Both are caffeine free which will make them a nice treat before bed.

Dr. In The Kitchen Flackers

This is probably my favorite item in the October box. I received Black Sesame Seed & Black Pepper Crisps. They are plant-based, vegan and low carb. They also have 5 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. I LOVE the list of ingredients and I also love that they only have 1 gram of sugar per serving.

MetaBall Energy Bites

These little bites sound really good. They have 10 grams of plant based protein and less than 10 grams of sugar. I received berry cobbler crunch.

TEAONIC My Immunity MOJO Revive

Now this is something I haven’t had the pleasure of trying as of yet. It is a herbal wellness shot made with elderberry, cinnamon, hibiscus and cayenne.

My Liver MOJO Detox

Here we have another version of the last product. This one is a mixture of dandelion, ginger, hibiscus, cinnamon and lemon.

Rickaroons Coconut Energy Bar

I have a love affair with macaroons. I absolutely adore them. They are the perfect treat when you need something sweet. This is a brand I haven’t tried before. It’s a megaroon made with chia seeds and cacao nibs.

Bubba’s Fine Foods Grand Garlic Parm Nana Chips

I’m quite excited about this snack because I love banana chips. This is an interesting take on them though. It’s a savoury, cheesy blend whereas I typically think of a sweet snack when I think of banana chips.

Ekoa Dried Mango Fruit Bar

I feel like I received this brand of fruit bar in another box but I think it was banana. This time I received pure mango which sounds really good right about now. It has been a while since I had dried mango and I actually really love it.

Split Nutrition

This is AH-MAZING!!! I’m already trying to figure out how I get my hands on more of these. It’s an on-the-go package complete with PG & Jelly! What’s not to love! I had a peek at their website and they have a few different flavour combos to choose from including peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter as well as different jelly flavours.

Vegancuts Snack Box Review October 2019 – Final Thoughts

I’m not sure if I am picking up on the cozy and comforting theme in the October box but that doesn’t necessarily take anything away from this months’ Vegancuts Snack Box. As per usually it is packed full of vegan snacking goodness. We have a nice mixture of tea, sweet snacks, crunchy, and salty. I discovered a few new products this month – the banana chips, the cookie walnuts, the flackers and the Rickaroons. When it comes to curation, price point and value, Vegancuts always manages to impress me.
