My love for Vellabox grows with each passing month, as does me love for candles. I’ve always been a fan but I’m especially loving them as of late. They are one of life’s little pleasures. It’s amazing what a candle can do for the atmosphere in your home. My current obsession is lighting a candle each morning and placing it in the bathroom while I shower. It’s the small things….

April Candle Maker – Bare Candle Co.

Bare Candle Company is run by full-time college student, Ashlyn. Her goal is to keep candles as they should be: simple. Ashlyn and her team create each candle by hand, from wicking, to pouring, to labeling, and even shipping.

Bonus Item – Dwarf Marigold Seeds

Plant in your candle jar! Once your candle has been depleted, clean out the excess waX with hot water and soap. Fill the jar with soil and plant roughly 1/3 of the seeds contained in this packet. Keep moist until seedlings are 1/2 inch tall. Keep in a sunny location and water as needed.

What a perfect candle for my morning kitchen routine. You can usually find me enjoying a cup of coffee and avocado toast while baby Steven eats his own breakfast, and I love to have a candle burning on the kitchen counter. Sunshine, coffee, toast and candles. How amazing does that sound?!

For those rainy spring days when you just want to be lazy. You block out the world to just listen to the melodic rainfall through the window screens. Candles lit, eyes closed. Just enjoying life’s simple pleasures.

Vellabox and their wonderful candle makers must be reading my mind because I referred to candles as life’s simple pleasures in the opening paragraph. I truly love the idea of a rainy day, windows open, book in hand, and candle lit.

Vellabox Review April 2021 – Final Thoughts

If life (and the current COVID situation) has gotten you down and you need an escape form it all, may I suggest a subscription to Vellabox?! The simple act of lighting a candle really does make your day a little brighter, and not just from the flame, but from the act itself. Also from the beautiful scents, the ambiance, and the atmosphere it creates in your home. Vellabox really does make the best gift to yourself. I can’t recommend it enough.
