Vellabox is a premium monthly candle subscription box designed to deliver good smells & good vibes right to your doorstep. Each month, Vellabox features a different artisan candle brand, with scents thoughtfully chosen to complement the season and box theme. To further personalize your experience, subscribers can curate their boxes based on their personal scent preferences. Dedicated to quality, all candles are meticulously sourced and tested for scent, ingredients, and performance – always made from 100% natural wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, pure cotton-braided wicks, and free of artificial coloring additives. Box options range by candle size – choose to receive a 4, 8, or 16 oz candle with up to 80 hours of burn. -How does a Vellabox membership work?
We make your experience pretty easy! Once you subscribe, candles handpicked by our Candle Curator will be delivered to your door every month with a special treat inside. You can subscribe on a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month basis, and receive a “pay in full” discount – or you can subscribe to our monthly program. On our monthly plan, your membership will renew each month (on the 1st) until you cancel. If you need to take a break from your boxes, you can pause your subscription for up to 6 months, or ask our support team to send your boxes to friends as gifts!
The first box in your subscription will either ship immediately, or we can ship at a later date; just enter in your specific request during checkout or chat with our support team!
Special gift and shipping options are available at checkout, or at any time if you simply contact our support team at support@vellabox.com.
-Why are our candles different?
Most people don’t realize that burning most commercial candles is bad for them. Our artisan candles always contain lead-free wicks, use phthalate-free fragrance oils, and are made of 100% soy, coconut or vegetable based waxes. Our candles will never contain the unhealthy ingredients found inside many other candles, such as paraffin, a petroleum derivative. Our Vellabox Candle Curators have strict guidelines to adhere to when choosing candles for your box.
-Where can I find a list of brands you work with?
The candle artisans we work with are all small-business, American makers who believe in healthy candles like we do. A few of the brands we have worked with are listed at the bottom of our home page, but for more information, check out our Candle Shop to get a better idea of the types of candles we love!
-When will I receive my first box?
We ship on the 5th of any given month all the way until the 25th of that month. After that, all orders placed will be held and will be shipped out with our bulk shipment on the 5th of the following month.
-Can I sign up for just one box?
We apologize, but we do not offer the option to purchase an individual Vellabox at this time. If you are looking for a single candle order, hop on over to our Candle Shop and browse the delightful candles we have featured in the past. https://www.vellabox.com/shop/
-Can I change or upgrade my subscription?
You can change the length of your subscription, or your subscription box size at any time in your subscription details. Just select the “Upgrade” button from under your current subscription and follow the instructions in the pop-up window to confirm your changes!
Step 1: Log onto Vellabox.com/account; Step 2: Select “Subscriptions” from the left menu; Step 3: Select “View” next the subscription you wish to alter; Step 4: From the actions section you’ll see the “Upgrade” Button. Choose your size; Step 5: Choose complete order. Your bill will not change until your next renewal date.
-Can I pause my candle shipments?
You can pause your candle shipments at any time. Simply log into your account, select “Subscriptions” from the menu on the left of the screen, then choose the subscription you would like to pause. Click the “Pause” button below the subscription as seen in the example here:
-What is your cancellation policy?
If you’re a subscriber for our monthly membership, you can cancel at any time. To cancel your subscription, you must login to your account and click “Cancel” in the “My Subscriptions” section. If you have any issues with cancelling on the website, you can email us at support@vellabox.com
-What are my gift subscription options?
So you want to give the gift of marvelous smelling candles? We can help! All Vellabox candle gifts include a custom note, one or two candles, and a free bonus gift! You select what size box your recipient will receive:
The Lucerna Box: a 4 oz seasonal candle and bonus gift (starting at $12/month)
The Ignis Box: an 8 oz seasonal candle and bonus gift (starting at $22/month)
The Vivere Box: 16 oz seasonal candle and a bonus gift (starting at $29/month)
You’ll also be able to choose how many candle shipments they receive; 3-, 6- or 12-months worth of candles, or a recurring gift that renews until canceled!
Our prepaid, candle gift subscriptions do not renew and your gift recipient will not know how much the gift costs, and will never be asked for payment information. A recurring gift subscription will renew each month (you’ll be charged on the 1st) until you, the purchaser, cancel it.
