Ok….so this might be my August Vellabox but it’s got me very excited for Fall and Fall candles. It’s officially September and to me that means CANDLE SEASON! I love to burn candles all year long but I love it even more this time of year. I feel the need to break out all my candles and display them in every room in the house. Too much?!

Coast

Notes: driftwood, juniper, oud, lavender, lemon, teakwood, tonka, amber.

If you’ve ever wanted something to wisp you away to your dream beach house, this fragrance is for you. Driftwood delivers your senses a postcard from the sea and is complimented by the freshness of juniper and the depth of oud. 

It’s quiet interesting, the first time around this candle has a bit of a masculine scent and the second time around I get a hint of lavender and vanilla. I know vanilla isn’t one of the notes but for some reason I’m picking it up. It’s a unique scent unlike any of the candles I currently own.

Radiant

Notes: lemongrass, lemon, eucalyptus.

Its name is representative of both the wonderful glow this candle will give off, as well as, it’s bright & beaming scent! For one of those good mood kinda days. 

This candle is perfect for good mood days. The fresh lemon scent makes me happy. It’s bright, uplifting and so addicting.

Vellabox Review August 2020 – Final Thoughts

What a nice way to end Summer and prepare for Fall. The August Vellabox brought with it two very lovely, essential oil-based candles that will be sure to brighten your day. Both scents are happy and uplifting. Radiant will be perfect for the kitchen and Coast will be perfect for the guest bathroom. I love both candles, as per usual, but I’m still really looking forward to the Fall scents!
