Orange Geranium Hand & Body Lotion by Scentuals ($14.95)
Handmade with care, Scentual’s delicate 100% natural lotion nourishes your mind and body. Hydrate and rejuvenate skin with Organic Argan and Organic Olive oils, while the scents of bright and uplifting orange and geranium come together to make every cleansing experience refreshing, uplifting and revitalizing. Apply and gently massage into skin until absorbed. Use on-the-go, throughout the day, after showers and before bed, for hands and body.
I have come to LOVE Scentuals products. I discovered this wonderful company thanks to my subscription boxes and I get so darn excited when I see it in a box. I am currently swooning over their Rosemary Mint Hand Repair Cream, it’s a must-have and I will definitely be ordering more. But today we are focusing on the hand & body lotion. I have loved every product I have received from Scentuals thus far so I already know I am going to love this lotion.
Multi-Blade Herb Scissors by Abbott Collection ($18.50)
Make your food preparation exponentially faster with these multi blade herb scissors. 5 blades slice and dice with the work of one scissor snip! It is the perfect tool for mincing herbs, scallions and other delicate foods.
I already have a pair of these scissors but I love them SO much that I am beyond thrilled to receive another pair. If you like to cook then you NEED a pair of these. They make chopping (cutting) herbs a breeze. I also use them for small and/or messy ingredients that need to be chopped like chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, capers, etc….
Premium Fish Spice Rub by Char Blue ($9.99)
Vancouver based Chef Jeffrey Young is proud to present his own line of Char Blue Premium Spice Rubs. He recommends this citrus and savoury Fish Rub (his newest creation) for all kinds of fish and seafood. Try it on salmon, shrimp, or white fish filets – perfect for fresh grilled fish tacos. You can also turn this rub into a marinade by mixing some of the spice rub with a little extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice – ease and simplicity.
I love receiving quality spice mixtures in my subscription boxes because it’s something I don’t necessarily go out and purchase for myself. However, I don’t eat fish so I will need to do a little research and see what else I can use this rub for. Maybe tofu or roasted veggies?
Gold Tin Candle in “Sweet Georgia” by Canvas Candle Co. ($16)
Each candle is handcrafted using their unique small batch process to ensure quality and consistency. The candles are created using 100% North American grown soy wax, phthalate free fragrance oils, as well as, pure essential oils, natural cotton wicks and reusable vessels. “Sweet Georgia” (one of the most popular scents) takes you back to the carefree summer days of childhood! The sweet peach with a fine hint of ginger essential oil will have you enjoying the summer, even on rainy days (and possibly craving a fuzzy peach).
Canvas Candle Co. is another company I discovered thanks to my subscription boxes and another company I have come to love. I have received their candies before, in a few different scents, but I am yet to receive this one. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the tin as it smells ten times better than I was expecting it to. It’s a nice fruity scent without being overly sweet. I think the ginger tones down the peach and balances the scent nicely.
Deep Exfoliating Mitt Body Scrub by Dermasuri ($29)
Made with a unique fabric texture, the mitt visibly removes surface layers of buildup and dead skin instantly. The mitt catches and sloughs off dead cells (which appear like small gray rolls) by simply rolling it off your skin. Reveal your healthy and smooth skin underneath.
- Helps even skin tone and prevents dullness, giving your skin a beautiful, soft glow
- Removes layers of dead skin instantly
- Improves circulation, stimulates collagen and fights aging
- Reduces ingrown hairs, bumps and clogged pores
- Smooths skin surface for even tanning and self-tanning products
- Helps to absorb skin care products more effectively
At first glance I wasn’t really interested in this product but after reading a little bit about it, and how to use it, I realized that it is something I will use often.
White Willow Box Review June 2020 – Final Thoughts
The June White Willow Box is absolutely wonderful, as per usual, and it is making me sad thinking that this will be my last WWB delivery for quite some time. As much as it upsets me that they have decided to put subscriptions on hold, I also understand why they are doing it.
For their last box they did a wonderful job. Two of the products are must-haves in my opinion – the lotion and the scissors. I also really love the candle as the scent is absolutely wonderful, and the exfoliating mitt is much appreciated as we head in to Summer and prepare to bare our skin after a season of hiding under sweaters and pants. I’m crossing my fingers that White Willow Box subscriptions will start back up sooner than later.
