2023 Spiral Planner ($36)

“See life at a glance with monthly and weekly planning pages, room for notes and to-dos, and bits of brilliant inspiration throughout.”

Usually Work • Space • Spark includes a book related to careers or career development but for this special Stationery Surprise edition they’ve gone with an agenda instead, which is wonderful as we draw closer to the new year. Personally I start to swoon over 2023 agendas when they start to come out in August and September so it wouldn’t be out of place to see one from Work • Space • Spark even sooner. I’m familiar with the brand who made this one (Sugar Paper) and it’s really well done. A great layout is great with with day-, week- and month-at-a-glance pages, a lovely cover and the coil binding which I really prefer to any other because the pages lie flat.

Felt Pens ($14)

“Start planning away in your 2023 Spiral Planner with these beautiful felt pens.”

Le Pen makes my favourite pens, felt-tipped like these one and I’m guessing the same size (0.3 mm) because they feel exactly the same. Only these ones are by Sugar Paper. I love the patterns and the colour coordination with the agenda.

Stationery Kit ($10)

“Add a pop of color to your planning with this stationery kit that includes pencils, a ruler, sticky notes and more.”

I would have loved to see this set in black and white as well but it’s still cute as all get out. I feel like I’ll really only use the sticky notes and the binder clips so I should put it aside to gift instead but we’ll see. I don’t have much willpower when it comes to stationery.

Mini Snap-In Bookmark Trio ($6)

“Clip directly into your spiral planner for effortless organization. Snap out, reposition, and repeat!”

Such a smart way to keep your page! I don’t know why I’ve never seen anything like these before. Brilliant!

Monthly Career Training and Interviews ($249+)

Each membership also includes exclusive access to strategies for career growth via online videos, courses and monthly ask-an-expert office hours.

This month’s box included a card featuring nine different Work • Space • Spark training videos available to subscribers such as “Business Etiquette Tips for Professionals,” “4 Ways to Land a Job Interview” and “Authenticity in Leadership.”

I saw a quote the other day that said something like “why do they call the little things “little things” when little things are EVERYTHING?” And it makes me think of stationery. It may be a little thing but having the right tools for the job can make a big difference. For someone who works in an office setting all day that might be an agenda that’s organized in a way that works for you and pens that feel good in the hand. I can’t speak to the training videos as I haven’t watched any but it seems like they cover a wide variety of tops and have a diversity of voices as well. I’m really curious to hear from Work • Space • Spark subscribers. What do you think of the box? Has it helped spark any ideas or career changes for you? What would you like to see from Work • Space • Spark?
