Here’s a closer look at December’s theme and the items I received this month.

December’s Theme – Pokemon Holiday Parade

The theme for December’s box is Pokemon Holiday Parade. The majority of this month’s items will feature your favorite Pokemon characters like Pikachu, Eevee, Snorlax, and more!

Included in every box is a mini magazine that gives you in-depth details of each item in the box, upcoming news, and mini activities! There’s also a rewards catalog showcasing JapanHaul’s new rewards program. You can earn points for all TokyoTreat, YumeTwins, and NoMakeNoLife subscription boxes.

Pikachu Food Mold

OMG this Pikachu Food Mold is so cute! It can be used with many different types of food like rice, mashed potatoes, jello, etc. You can easily recreate Pikachu’s smiling face as well as other fun shapes. Rice is my personal choice of medium, and it’s an easy and fun way to spice up my meals. I can’t wait to surprise my boyfriend with it the next time I cook for him!

Palm-Sized Animal Plushie

This isn’t a Pokemon item, but it might just be my favorite plushie I’ve received yet! These animal plushies are tiny and truly fit inside your palm. It also comes with a small metal chain that you can use to attach the plushie to your bag or keychain. There are 20 different variations you could receive in the box, and I got a cute monkey. I want to collect them all!

Pokemon Keychain Ornament

This keychain comes in 5 different Pokemon characters – you’ll receive either Pikachu, Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, or Vaporeon. I received a winking Pikachu that’s perched on top of a pokeball. Each keychain comes with a metal chain that can be used to attached to your keys, bag, or use it as an ornament for your Christmas tree! Also included inside each box is a small piece of gum.

Pokemon Luggage Tag

If you travel often, then you’ll love this Pokemon Luggage Tag! There are 4 possible designs including Mimikyu, Pikachu, Eevee, and Snorlax. I received Pikachu and it comes with a contact sheet in the back where you can add your name and details. It’s made of a sturdy rubber material, so it won’t get ruined amidst the shuffle when checking in your bags. It also adds a little bit of cuteness to your luggage, so you’ll easily be able to spot which one is yours.

Sanrio Sticky Notes

The sticky notes aren’t a Pokemon themed item, but they’re actually Sanrio ones! I received the My Melody design, but there’s also a Hello Kitty one available. Each set of sticky notes comes with 4 different pads and designs. Some of these are a little too small to write notes on, but they can double up as gift tags!

Pokemon and Sanrio Stickers

This is another variant item where you could possibly receive Pokemon themed stickers, or one with Sanrio characters. I received the Pompompurin design, which I absolutely love! The sticker sheet comes full of adorable stickers featuring the golden retriever (did anyone else know he was a dog?) and his little hamster friend!

YumeTwins December Review – Final Thoughts

I was so excited to see an entire box dedicated to Pokemon, but I was a little disappointed to see not EVERY item followed the theme. Out of the five items in the box, only 3 of mine were Pokemon themed items, and really all of them were Pikachu. I’m not upset though because 1) I love Pikachu and 2) the other items I received were super cute regardless. Besides that, I think YumeTwins continues to improve their box by including items that are both kawaii and very practical (it’s not just for looks). I know I’ll get a lot of use out of the Pikachu Luggage Tag and the Pikachu Food Mold. Plus, the Palm-sized Animal Plushie is going on my keychain as we speak!
