Here’s a closer look at the items I received in the February YumeTwins box….

February’s Theme – Spoil Me Sweet

This month’s box is dedicated to Valentine’s Day! YumeTwins is spoiling you with a bunch of kawaii items to make you feel happy this holiday.

Included in every box is a mini magazine that gives you in-depth details of each item in the box, upcoming news, and mini activities! If you are a subscriber, don’t forget to scan your box in to earn points with their new rewards program!

Gudetama Sweets Plushie

I was so excited to receive the Gudetama Sweets Plushie because he’s my favorite Japanese character EVER. This is a variant item, so you could either receive a donut-shaped Gudetama or an ice cream Gudetama. I lowkey wished we could somehow receive both, but I’m very happy with the donut version! He’s round with a donut hole in the center and colorful sprinkles all throughout. So cute!

Kawaii Money Box

The Kawaii Money Box is another variant item that comes in 7 possible designs. You could receive Hello Kitty, My Melody, Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, or one of the Sumikko Gurashi characters. The money box is roughly 3×3 inches and comes in a block style that’s stackable (meaning, you can collect them all!)! There are two slits at the top and a divider running down the middle inside the box. This can help keep your dollar bills and coins separate. Plus, there are two plastic plugs at the bottom for easy retrieval.

Sanrio Straw

This Sanrio bendy straw comes in two different designs: Hello Kitty or My Melody. I received the My Melody version (which matches my new piggy bank) and I’m surprised how much I like this! I wasn’t that excited to see a straw in my box, but I love how it’s made of a hard, sturdy plastic that’s reusable. It’s eco-friendly and eliminates me having to use disposable plastic straws! Plus, it’s super cute.

Kirby Mini Pouch

The Kirby Mini Pouch is a small transparent vinyl pouch with a zipper. There’s 4 possible Kirby character designs you could receive, and all of them are adorable. This pouch comes in handy as a coin purse, or as an accessories holder if you’re like me and always need to keep a few hair ties and bobby pins with you!

Cute Pet Eco Bag

The Cute Pet Eco Bag comes in 4 possible designs featuring Shiba Inu or cat designs. I received a tan bag with an adorable spotted kitty. This nifty bag can fold itself into the attached pouch to save space. When you unfold the bag, the pouch actually transforms into an inner pocket for the bag. It’s very handy for traveling somewhere over the weekend, or for a quick grocery store stop.

Kawaii Pen Clip

The Kawaii Pen Clip is probably the handiest item this month, and definitely something I didn’t know I needed! There are 9 possible designs including Sanrio characters, Kirby, or Doraemon. I received the Little Twin Stars design and most, if not all, of the pen clips come in shiny gold which makes this look real fancy. The back comes with a clip that you can slide on and attach to any notebook, folder, or etc. There’s a spring on the front that can stretch and expand to hold most pen sizes. The days of searching for a pen to write with are over with this new gadget!

YumeTwins February 2019 Review – Final Thoughts

I absolutely loved this month’s YumeTwins box! Though it’s hard to see how these items relate to anything Valentine’s Day, every single item is super kawaii and very practical too. I’ve already incorporated every single item in this month’s box into my work space or home, and the plushie of the month is by far my favorite yet (who can resist Gudetama dressed up as a desert?)!

My favorite items this month is the Gudetama Sweets Plushie, the Money Box, and the Pen Clip! I’ve already begun using the Pen Clip on my trips to the library or to work and the Money Box now holds all of my loose change. I can’t wait to see what YumeTwins has in store for March!
