Here’s a closer look at October’s box theme and the items I received this month….

October’s Theme – Magical Halloween

The theme for October is Magical Halloween! You’ll find kawaii Halloween-inspired items inside this month’s box that will help make your holiday feel more special.

Included in every box is a mini magazine that gives you in-depth details of each item in the box, upcoming news, and mini activities!

Pokemon Hand Towel Set

There are two possible Hand Towel Sets this month: one with Gengar or one with Mimikyu. Each set contains varying designs, but each contains a Pikachu hand towel, and an Eevee hand towel. I think this set is so cute, but I do wish the towels were just a tad bigger. Personally, I think these are slightly too small to be hand towels, but I’m sure I can find many other uses for them.

Ghibli Cup

Subscribers will receive either a Kiki’s Delivery Service Jiji cup or a Totoro spirit cup. I received the Kiki’s Delivery Service variant with Jiji, the adorable black cat! The cup is made of a durable plastic that feels shatter-resistant. It features vibrant flowers and several black cats printed around the bright yellow cup.

Kawaii Rabbit Plush

Another variant item this month is the Kawaii Rabbit Plush which comes in 6 different styles! I received an adorable and girly pink bunny with a matching pink hair bow. These plushies are incredible soft and squishy. I think they’re one of the best quality plushies I’ve yet to receive!

Spirited Away Origami Set

I’ve never seen Spirited Away, but the magical and fantasy-like characters in this origami set looks well suited to be included in this Halloween themed box. The set comes with 20 sheets of paper and 4 different designs! The possibilities are endless with this set.

Nyanpire Clear File

Another character perfect for this Halloween themed box is Nyanpire, the vampire black cat! This clear file comes in 3 different designs featuring this kawaii cat. The file itself feels a bit flimsy, but it is a decent size to keep your important records organized with.

Cute Cat Paw Gloves

These cute cat paw gloves can double as fingerless gloves, or a part of your cat/animal costume this Halloween! They’re made of a very soft fleece that helps keep your hands warm especially as the colder weather approaches us.

YumeTwins October Review – Final Thoughts

This month’s YumeTwins box felt pretty underwhelming, but there was a lot of thought and effort put into the curation process to fit this month’s Halloween theme. Similar to last month, the items felt a little lackluster, though I do have uses for everything in this box. I did really appreciate the diversity within the items. This month included two household items, two stationary/office supplies, a plushie and a fashion item.

My favorite items this month has got to be the Ghibli Cup and the Kawaii Rabbit Plush! The cup is so adorable and perfect for my afternoon pick-me-up, while the Kawaii Rabbit Plush is so soft and cuddly – perfect for the colder weather!
