Here’s a look at August’s box theme and the items I received this month….
August’s Theme – Summer Pack
This month’s theme is the Summer Pack! Summer is filled with fun activities like going to the beach, staying out during warm summer nights, eating ice cream and so much more. These items feature fun and cute designs revolving around all of these activities.
Included in every box is a flyer that gives you in-depth details of each item in the box and how to use them.
Pilot – Metallic Juice Gel Pen 0.5
The Juice Gel Pen is a popular pen line from Pilot, and this special version comes with metallic ink. I receive a metallic gold that’s shimmery and great for decorating. You can use it to write on both paper and photos!
Sakura – Micron PIGMA Pen
The PIGMA pen included for this month comes in blue, black, or green. I received the blue variation and I couldn’t be more happy with it! This pen has a super fine point tip that features a waterproof ink with light resistance. It doesn’t bleed on paper and is ideal for drawing or illustrations.
Summer Letter Set
This summer-themed letter set comes in either a watermelon print or a bright sunflower one. It features two different designs of papers in each set with a total of 8 pieces. There’s also a small strip of watermelon stickers and a set of miniature envelopes! It’s such a cute and simple set that is perfect for sending out little notes.
Summer Post Card Set
This post card set features a vibrant Japanese night market design – it has fans, fish, lanterns, and I even spot a ramune bottle! The back of the post card is a blank white space where you can draft a special postcard to send to a friend.
Kuretake – ZIG Wink of Stella
This is probably the coolest pen I own so far! I don’t dabble in calligraphy because frankly, my handwriting isn’t that nice. However, this would be an ideal pen for lettering, drawing, crafting and decorating. The ink that flows from the pen to the brush-tip is in a glittery black hue that’s super pigmented!
Manet Washi Tape
A stationary subscription box wouldn’t be complete without a roll of washi tape! Manet is well-known for their painterly designs and this month features 3 different variations: Space Flowers, Soft Ice Cream, Space Ice Cream. I received the Space Flowers design which has a very cute and whimsical floral design!
Folding Ruler
This handy ruler can expand from 6 inches to 12 inches! It has a kawaii pink ice cream design that’s perfect for the summer theme.
Planner Sticky Notes
This set of two mini sticky note pads is the perfect size to add into your daily planner or agenda. One is of a mini to-do list and the other is of an ice cream cone you can use for jotting down quick notes.
Flake Stickers
These beach-themed flake stickers come in a pack with 45 stickers! My version features many marine animals and the intricate details of each sticker is rather beautiful and delicate. There are a handful of different designs including colorful jelly fish designs, starfishes, fish, sea horses, shells and much more!
Mini Memo Pad – Small Animal Ball
Gacha-Gacha, or capsule toys, are extremely popular in Japan. This booklet of notepads from Mindwave is inspired after them! This mini booklet contains a set of 6 memo pads and each pad has its own design with the cute small animal balls. I think this is a great addition to any desk, but they’re almost too cute to use!
Also included as a special gift for subscribing is a soft Luna plush toy! It has a string attached to it at the top which can be attached to a keychain, bag/purse, or anywhere!
Zenpop Stationery Pack August Review – Final Thoughts
This is my first month receiving the Zenpop Stationery Park and I am pleased with the selection! There are 10 items in each box and I enjoyed the diversity of items from pens, memo pads, stickers, and other stationery supplies like the ruler! I’m a big stationery lover and I can see all of these items being very useful in my office or for decorating my planner or scrapbook with! I think my favorite items have got to be the Pilot Metallic Juice Pen for decorating photos with, the Flake Stickers and the Small Animal Ball note pads.
