Here’s a look at April’s ZenPop theme and the items I received this month….
April’s Theme – Sakura Pack
Around the months of spring, o-hanami, or cherry blossom viewing, is extremely popular in Japan. To celebrate this beautiful time of year, ZenPop included many sakura-themed items in this month’s box!
Included in every box is a flyer that gives you in-depth details of each featured item and how to use them.
Washi Tape – Yozakura (Top)
This month features not one, but TWO different rolls of beautiful washi tape! The first one is Yozakura, or Night Sakura, themed. The width of this tape is much thicker than usual and is about an inch wide. It features a dark navy blue background with beautiful pale pink sakura flowers.
Washi Tape – Golden Sakura (Bottom)
The second washi tape included this month is Golden Sakura themed. It features a gorgeous cherry blossom pattern on a pretty pink background. Plus, the sakura flowers are accentuated with gold foiling!
Sakurasaku Cherry Blossom Pencil
This wooden pencil is coated in a pretty pink hue and is shaped like a sakura blossom! These pencils are one-of-a-kind and when shaved with a knife, the wooden shavings resemble sakura petals. Despite this cool feature, I’ll probably stick to using a normal pencil sharpener to sharpen this!
Sakura Standing Sticky Notes
These cute sakura shaped sticky notes come with a matching stand that makes it easy to display at your desk. They’re almost too pretty to use!
Yuzen Cherry Blossom Stickers (Left)
The Yuzen Cherry Blossom Sticker pack is full of sakura shaped stickers made from hand-made Japanese Yuzen washi paper. The quality of these are unmatched, and they look like pieces of art! Each of these paper designs were dyed by hand and there are many different patterns and colors included.
Harapeko Bento Stickers (Right)
While enjoying the beautiful cherry blossom trees, people usually enjoy obento, or outside meals. These Harapeko Bento Stickers feature many entrees typically enjoyed during these cherry blossom viewings like rice balls, fried shrimp, sausage shaped octopus and more!
Bento Stick Markers
Another bento-themed item this month is the Bento Stick Markers. This collection of paper tabs features yummy food designs like salmon, tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet), rice balls, fried shrimp and so much more. The designs are way too cute too!
Flat Clips
Using boring metal paper clips is now a thing of the past. These Flat Clips are made from paper and come in 4 different designs. There are 16 clips in total for you to use to clip together important documents, or bookmark pages!
Zebra Sarasa Gel Pen – Vintage Ink Color (Top)
I was first introduced to Zebra Sarasa Gel Pens at my work place, and since then, these have become my favorite writing tools! This month we have TWO Zebra Sarasa Gel Pens (YAY!). The first one is part of the vintage color collection which comes in 5 possible shades: caramel yellow, cassis (black currant) black, bordeaux purple, dark gray, and sepia black. This color collection was created specifically for adults who wanted more pen color options that still looked classy.
Zebra Sarasa Gel Pen – Marble Color (Top)
The second Zebra Sarasa Gel Pen is from the Marble Color collection, which is much more fun and ~groovy~. These feature a mixture of colorful gel ink in the body which changes colors as you write.
ZenPop Stationery Pack April Review – Final Thoughts
This month’s ZenPop Stationery Pack featured so many practical items with a beautiful sakura theme! The box contained a nice variety of items including several pens and pencils, stickers, washi tape, sticky notes and many other stationary goodies. I loved nearly everything this month with my stand out favorites being the Bento Stick Markers, both Zebra Sarasa Gel Pens, and the Yuzen Cherry Blossom Stickers!
