AUGUST’S ADULT FICTION THEME IS: ADVENTURE

Our protagonist has had her share of bad romances (cue: Lady Gaga), but is determined to find the right guy. With a career that allows her to travel, it shouldn’t be too difficult considering she meets people from all over the world. Of course, nothing is as easy as it seems. She meets a new potential mate in her escapades around the world, but she must make some changes to find the love she has always dreamed of.

AUGUST’S YOUNG ADULT THEME IS: EXPLORATION
BOOK HINTS: Dystopian, Sci-Fi, Space
This exciting, newly released novel follows our protagonist, a mechanic aboard a space shuttle, as she is forced back to her home; a wish she never thought would come true. Unfortunately, her home is not what she remembered and the Queen is not who she idolized as a child. With her people enslaved and life as she once knew it totally gone, she longs to return to the place she now knows best – space. However, a revolution is brewing and an entire population’s livelihood is on the line, so getting back to space is easier said than done. Our protagonist knows she has to do her best to make a difference, but she fears she won’t be able to as just one person.
Is she strong enough to pay the price for freedom?
