Goddess Provisions Box Review – January 2023

Goddess Provisions is a monthly subscription box that helps light up your soul and nourish your inner goddess to grow your spiritual practice. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Goddess Provisions was created as a way to share tools found to help connect with your divine feminine and grow your spiritual practice. They know we all share in the “busy-ness” of life, but believe in the importance of taking the time to manifest journal, meditate, frolick around in nature, pet kittens, practice yoga, have reiki healing sessions, do tarot card readings, drink green juice, write out the things we’re grateful for, check the astrology forecast and charge our crystals under the full moon. If you enjoy these simple pleasures too, they know you’re going to feel like their monthly box was curated just for you by a true soul sister.

Each month you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated box that contains 5-7 FULL SIZE products including items like crystals, aromatherapy, superfoods, apothecary beauty & spiritual tools. All items will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free because they cherish our furry friends. They consciously package each curation in kraft paper boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are printed on with plant-based inks. Also, for every box and boutique item sold, they plant a tree!

January Box Details (Total Value $155)

The January box theme is “Ritual Magick” and is packed with unique little treasures to inspire and enhance any magical rituals you add to your life this year.

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Goddess Provisions:

Box Insert

I love this box’s insert! Every month they have new cover art created by their resident artist (. ) to match the theme and it’s always so beautiful. The inside of the insert contains product information, uses and value along with coupon codes from many of the creators. Opposite from the product information is additional information on how to use some of the products included this month in a daily charm casting ritual. Overall it’s just so nice to look at and the cover art could totally be framed!

Charm Casting Kit ($28)

“Cast your questions and unveil divine answers with the help of this 25-piece charm casting kit. Inside you’ll find a unique set of charms, an instruction booklet, and a beautiful mat to help you begin your charm casting journey.”

I’m so intrigued by this item! I’ve never heard of charm casting before and it sounds so fun to try out. There are so many little charms in the bag like a snake and an antler that each mean something specific. The kit also includes a lovely mat that’s part of the practice, along with instructions on how to use it. I can’t wait to see what each of the charms mean and how they speak to me!

Potion Magick Tea Towel ($20)

“Channel your inner elixir creator and add a little magick to your kitchen or bathroom with this mystical tea towel. Keep it on hand whenever you create a mystical concoction or place it on your altar.”

This is a unitque item! I’ve not received a tea towel in this box before. I feel like tea towels are generally thought of as a kitchen item, but I think this would be a nice altar cloth or even a nice bathroom decorative towel too. Either way, I like the colors and design that includes the potion bottles, it’s really fun!

Divine Serpent Selenite Palm Stone ($25)

“Connect to the moon and your serpent guides with the help of this etched selenite palm stone. This is a great stone to add to your collection to help cleanse your other crystals.”

I love the shape and use of this palm stone, and the etched design is beautiful too. I have many selenite stones, but none that are meant to hold in the palm of your hand or are to be used as a little stand to set other items on for cleansing. This is a great pair for the charm casting kit to ensure the readings are clear and intentional.

Banishing Aromatherapy Roller ($19.99)

“This protective blend helps to keep unwanted energies at bay with the help of rosemary, eucalyptus, and garden sage essential oils, and a black obsidian roller.”

I love the aroma of this roller, it’s crisp and grounding with the scents of rosemary and eucalyptus coming though to me most. It almost smells medicinal in an herbal way, making it feel like it might be protective of not just negative energies, but also for helping to keep illness at bay too. That’s just a hunch, not what it says, but regardless I like this one and will be using it lots this winter for sure.

Divine Protection Soy Candle ($12)

“This 100% soy wax candle is the perfect addition to your routine after a long day. Inside you’ll find kiwi jasper paired with lavender, neroli, and jasmine to help you refresh your energy.”

This candle has such a unique scent. At first I really picked up the jasmine, but the more I smell it the other aromas come through too. I like it and it’s scent profile really does feel strong and protecting like the name of the candle suggests. I like the idea of using this with the charm casting ritual to cleanse the charms like the product insert suggests.

Orange Unakite ($5)

“This stone can help you find moments of inner peace with its grounding and balancing properties. Keep it with you while you get ready to invite feelings of self-love into your routine.”

Lately they keep finding stones that I don’t have in my collection yet to send each month which is great so that I can grow my collection instead of gathering duplicates. I like the healing properties of this one, especially as a partner for setting new rituals.

Bonus: Charm Casting 101 Course ($45)

“This online course was created by our very own Content Witch, Christy, to walk you through the history of charm casting, how to cleanse and charge your kit, example readings, and more!”

This is a great bonus item since I really have never heard about charm casting before. I’m not deep in the know of all things mystical, but I don’t feel like it’s as popular as things like tarot, so it’s great to have a course that sounds super informational to help utilize this item.

Final Thoughts

I’m loving this month’s Goddess Provisions box! There are some really unique items in it that introduced me to new rituals and concepts. Namely the charm casting kit and the Selenite palm stone with it’s new way to utilize a healing crystal. Since I’d never heard of charm casting before I also appreciate the bonus course with further information on how to do it. This is a fun box to get at the beginning of the year since I think making new daily habits and rituals of self care is a good resolution to make and try to keep up with. I’m generally not one for resolutions, but something like that is great because rituals are good for your mind and body and they are fun to do too. Plus it’s always good to learn new things and expand your way of thinking. I look forward to trying everything in this month’s box and hope to start some rituals to carry me through the year ahead!
