Goddess Provisions Box Review May 2022

Goddess Provisions is a monthly subscription box that helps light up your soul and nourish your inner goddess to grow your spiritual practice. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Goddess Provisions was created as a way to share tools found to help connect with your divine feminine and grow your spiritual practice. They know we all share in the “busy-ness” of life, but believe in the importance of taking the time to manifest journal, meditate, frolick around in nature, pet kittens, practice yoga, have reiki healing sessions, do tarot card readings, drink green juice, write out the things we’re grateful for, check the astrology forecast and charge our crystals under the full moon. If you enjoy these simple pleasures too, they know you’re going to feel like their monthly box was curated just for you by a true soul sister.

Each month you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated box that contains 5-7 FULL SIZE products including items like crystals, aromatherapy, superfoods, apothecary beauty & spiritual tools. All items will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free because they cherish our furry friends. They consciously package each curation in kraft paper boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are printed on with plant-based inks. Also, for every box and boutique item sold, they plant a tree!

May Box Details (Total Value $XX)

The May box theme is “Mercury Retrograde Kit” and is going to come in handy with the current retrograde just starting a few days ago. These items will certainly help navigate the more intense energies that have recently arrived.

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Goddess Provisions:

Box Insert

I love this box’s insert! Every month they have new cover art created by their resident artist (@creativewannabe_ ) to match the theme and it’s always so beautiful. The inside of the insert contains product information, uses and value along with coupon codes from many of the creators. Opposite from the product information information about fun products in their marketplace. Overall it’s just so nice to look at and the cover art could totally be framed!

Astroglorious Mercury In Retrograde Journal ($32)

“Release what no longer serves you and allow yourself to slow down with this journal designed around reflecting what Mercury Retrograde calls forth. Written by Maja Todorovic.”

This is such a cool item and would be a really fun way to pass the time during the retrograde. It’s a book and journal in one with the first half full of information on Mercury Retrogrades, what the dates are, how to prepare, a survival guide, and more. The second half is the journal which includes prompts for each day of the retrograde to help you use the energies to blossom into your true self. There are 3 cycles worth of journaling too which is really nice and makes the journal even more useful. I look forward to exploring this journal more.

Planets Aligned Loose Incense Holder ($25)

“Call on your planetary guides during times of need with this celestial incense older, perfect for cones or loose incense.”

This is a great little incense holder! I love the wooden material and the zodiac designs encircling the top. I like incense, but I suppose it could be used for a candle or for something else if you didn’t. This would be great on an altar and for incorporating into retrograde rituals.

Kate’s Magik White Sage Sacred Mist ($16)

“This reiki-infused cleansing mist is made from white sage grown on a small family farm to help clear your space and welcome positivity.”

I love the earthy aroma of this spray! And I love how it’s a quick and easy (and non-messy) way to sage your space. It smells so grounding and just like sage really. Of course since sage is meant to usher in positivity I’m thinking this needs to be generously sprayed around during this retrograde to keep things in check.

House Of Intuition Incense Blend – Mercury Retrograde ($6)

“Activate sacred smoke from this incense to aura cleanse and protect your energy. To use, place your own charcoal in your loose incense holder & light, allowing the charcoal to become ember and ash. Sprinkle incense on top & let the charcoal work its magic.”

This incense is the perfect pairing for the included incense holder. I really like that it’s a loose incense so you can see the actual real ingredients it’s made of. It also smells really herbal-y and grounding. I’m curious to see what aroma it emits when it’s used.

Good Medicine Beauty Lab Detox Mask ($18)

“A nourishing and detoxing powder face mask to leave your skin feeling fresh and clean.”

I love face masks and I’ve really enjoyed other products I’ve tried from this brand so I’m sure this will be a great product. It’s a powder mask that you just have to add a bit of liquid to in order to activate and use. I look forward to trying this one out for some self care during this time of changing energies.

Rough Black Tourmaline ($5)

“Carry this shielding stone with you to absorb what doesn’t serve you and help keep you grounded throughout your day.”

This is the perfect stone to include for pairing with the retrograde time period since it can absorb any negativity. I don’t think I have a rough version of this stone in my collection so I’m glad to have it now, especially for the retrograde.

Goddess Provisions Box Review May 2022 – Final Thoughts

This month’s Goddess Provisions box arrived just in time for the start of the new retrograde and is such a positive complement to the oftentimes disorganized or chaotic feeling the season can bring about. I try not to preemptively be nervous about retrogrades, so planning for them doesn’t always cross my mind, but having these tools ready does make working with and through the undoubted mishaps that will occur sound more appealing. I like the idea of being curious about the energies it brings and learning more about it with all these tools instead of being annoyed it’s that time again. The journal is such a cool and unique item, I love the convenience of the sage spray and the idea of incorporating self care with the mask is such a great idea. Overall, an unexpected, but totally interesting and well timed theme this month with awesome items to match!
