Goddess Provisions Box Review October 2022

Goddess Provisions is a monthly subscription box that helps light up your soul and nourish your inner goddess to grow your spiritual practice. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Goddess Provisions was created as a way to share tools found to help connect with your divine feminine and grow your spiritual practice. They know we all share in the “busy-ness” of life, but believe in the importance of taking the time to manifest journal, meditate, frolick around in nature, pet kittens, practice yoga, have reiki healing sessions, do tarot card readings, drink green juice, write out the things we’re grateful for, check the astrology forecast and charge our crystals under the full moon. If you enjoy these simple pleasures too, they know you’re going to feel like their monthly box was curated just for you by a true soul sister.

Each month you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated box that contains 5-7 FULL SIZE products including items like crystals, aromatherapy, superfoods, apothecary beauty & spiritual tools. All items will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free because they cherish our furry friends. They consciously package each curation in kraft paper boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are printed on with plant-based inks. Also, for every box and boutique item sold, they plant a tree!

October Box Details (Total Value $XX)

The October Goddess Provisions box theme is “Enchanted Sorceress” and is all about helping you find the magic within yourself through each carefully selected tool.

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s box:

Box Insert

I love this box’s insert! Every month they have new cover art created by their resident artist (@best.wiishes) to match the theme and it’s always so beautiful. The inside of the insert contains product information, uses and value along with coupon codes from many of the creators. Opposite from the product information is an idea for using one of the included products in a cleansing ritual . Overall it’s just so nice to look at and the cover art could totally be framed!

Mystic Messages Heat Changing Mug ($28)

“Add a little mysticism to your morning or evening routine with this heat changing mug. Add 8 oz. of hot water or coffee to your mug and watch as magical illustrations appear.”

What a fun concept for a mug! I love that images appear with heat so that when you’re practicing a ritual including a hot tea, you’ll be inspired by the images that show up too. Each side has a different illustration that’s not heat activated, a crystal ball and a planchette. Messages show up in each and it looks like little stars and moons also show up throughout. I haven’t tried the heat activation yet, but I’m excited to see what it looks like. I love tea so will have to try it with my nightly ritual tonight!

Cottagewicks Practical Magic Face & Body Milk ($32)

“Invite peace and protection and add a touch of glamour magic to your routine with this lavender and rosemary hydrating face and body lotion.”

Oh, this just smells so lovely! I really enjoy lavender for it’s calming nature, and this lavender aroma is just so captivating. It has a nice soft texture that isn’t too thick, and feels soothing to the skin. This will be a perfect item to add to my bedtime routine

Crystal Ball Necklace ($26)

“Gaze into the obsidian crystal ball and channel its protective energies. This 14k gold-plated necklace can serve as a reminder that your future is in your hands.”

This is a really cute concept for a necklace! I love the look of the black obsidian stone for the contrast with the gold metal and obsidian is a wonderful protective stone to wear every day. I sort of wish a stone with clarity healing properties would have been chosen, but I love the look and will definitely still wear it.

Tarot Notepad ($12)

“Keep track of your to-dos or record your brilliant ideas on this 100% recycled paper notepad. Each colorful page channels the energy of one of the Major Arcana cards.”

This will be the perfect desk top note pad. It’s a really cute design and of course is very functional. I like that the size is smaller too. It would be useful for taking a few journalling notes after a ritual practice or tarot pull too!

Travel Ritual Kit ($25)

“A perfect kit for on-the-go magic or to build your altar, this Ritual Kit comes with tongs, a glass vial, Ethereal Energy essential oil blend, and a Smoky Quartz crystal. Create your own moon water with the ritual card included or use this kit as the foundation for your travel altar.”

I like the idea of this product, very unique and convenient too! I like that it comes with all the little tools needed and gives an example of how to use them. It’s said to be useful for creating inner strength, which is often needed when traveling and being away from your normal routine. The tin is big enough that you could pop a few addition items in like an altar cloth or something to make a traveling altar even more special. I will have to bring this along on my next trip for some grounding energies.

Smoky Quartz (in the Travel Ritual Kit)

“This grounding and protective stone is the perfect ally to keep with you on the go. Carry this water-safe stone with you to help lighten the mood and find balance as you travel.”

This is a perfect choice for a stone that’s included in a product intended for travel. Traveling is imbalancing in it’s nature, so any tool to bring things back to center would be a welcome addition. I love the smoky and mystical look of this stone too, it’s a good one to have in the collection.

Final Thoughts

This month’s Goddess Provisions theme feels a little less direct than some of the other more recent months, but I kind of appreciate that it’s looser so you can apply the tools included however you want. Each is especially nice for self-discovery, but is also good for cleansing and clarity too. I love the face and body milk for it’s grounding aroma, but the crystal ball necklace is super unique and the tarot notepad is extra useful while also being cute too. Overall, I don’t feel specifically inspired for a single self discovery ritual, but know I’ll be using all the products included somehow!
