Goddess Provisions Review August 2020

Goddess Provisions is a monthly subscription box that helps light up your soul and nourish your inner goddess to grow your spiritual practice. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Goddess Provisions was created as a way to share tools found to help connect with your divine feminine and grow your spiritual practice. They know we all share in the “busy-ness” of life, but believe in the importance of taking the time to manifest journal, meditate, frolick around in nature, pet kittens, practice yoga, have reiki healing sessions, do tarot card readings, drink green juice, write out the things we’re grateful for, check the astrology forecast and charge our crystals under the full moon. If you enjoy these simple pleasures too, they know you’re going to feel like their monthly box was curated just for you by a true soul sister.

Each month you’ll receive a thoughtfully curated box that contains 5-7 FULL SIZE products including items like crystals, aromatherapy, superfoods, apothecary beauty & spiritual tools. All items will be 100% vegan and cruelty-free because they cherish our furry friends. They consciously package each curation in kraft paper boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are printed on with plant-based inks. Also, for every box and boutique item sold, they plant a tree!

August Box Details

The August box theme is “Divination” and the monthly mantra that supports it is: “My channel to the divine is open and ready to receive mystical guidance.”

In case you also weren’t clear on the definition of “Divination” it means: “the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means.” or “the attempt to gain insight into a question or situation by way of ritual.” I find this month’s theme so intriguing and know that the tools included will really help foster that curiosity!

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Goddess Provisions:

Box Insert

I love this box’s insert! Every month they have a different artist create the cover art to match the theme and it’s always so beautiful. This month’s cover design is by @daphnasebbane and is so perfectly mystical. The inside of the insert contains product information, uses and value along with coupon codes from many of the creators. Opposite from the product information is the monthly mantra designed with more art by the cover artist. Overall it’s just so nice to look at and the cover art could totally be framed!

Goddess Provisions Divination Teacup & Saucer ($33)

“Enjoy a cup of loose leaf tea in this mystical porcelain teacup and discover the art of tasseography. Reflect on a question as you sip. When finished, observe the tea leaf configurations set against the map of the moon phases for insight into your inquiry Learn how to read messages in your cup at goddessprovisons.com/tasseography”

Ok, first of all this is so cute! I love the moon phases and sun designs. This is such a unique and fun item to receive and is something I’ve never found in a subscription box before. I also really love that there is intention beyond just sipping tea with it’s use. I’ve never heard of tasseography before and am so intrigued to incorporation it into a tea drinking ritual. I can’t wait to learn more and try it out for myself!

Gemstone Organics Seraph Elixir ($20)

“Set the space for your divination ritual and call in your angel guides when you apply this clarifying elixir that features myrrh, ginger, sandalwood, sweet orange and geranium essential oils infused with iolite gemstone essence.”

This aroma is so lovely and grounding. I just want to keep smelling it! It was created to help connect you with your inner wisdom, or intuition. The idea is that it helps bring clarity of mind to aid in tuning in to your inner voice speaking in new dreams and visions. I could use some mind clarity and really enjoy the aroma of this so I look forward to incorporation into my mindfulness routine.

Goddess Provisions Rune Stones ($22)

“This rune set includes 25 stones that are made of Schima Superba wood and laser etched with symbols from the ancient elder futhark runic alphabet. Intuitively draw one or more pieces to gain insight into a question or situation.”

I’ve never tried this tool for insight before and find them to be a really interesting. They can be used with meditation on a certain question to give insight with how to proceed. They are really nice wooden stones and I like that they come in a little storage pouch. I tend to be indecisive and ruminate on things so these could be a helpful grounding tool. I can’t wait to try these out.

Positively Mystic Rune Stone Guidebook ($6)

“Consult this guidebook to interpret the meaning of elder futhark symbols and how the message applies to your current circumstances.”

This little booklet is such a helpful partner in deciphering the included rune stones. It includes instructions, meanings of each stone, and what each stands for. I’m glad this was included, otherwise it would make using the rune stones more complicated.

Positively Mystic Pendulum Board ($22)

“This pendulum board draws on the support of nature spirits with hand-drawn designs of plants, crystals, the sun & the moon that are laser etched into maple wood. Use it in unison with your crystal pendulum to receive a clear ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer to your questions.”

This is such a beautifully designed board that pairs perfectly with the included pendulum. I like that it’s a simple tool also used for meditating when you want to find an answer to a question. It’s used almost like how you would used a magic 8 ball. I used to love that thing and whether you believe in it or not, this type of tool does bring some grounding and comfort, or at least helps you lessen your rumination on repetitive thoughts.

Clear Quartz Pendulum ($33)

“Wield this ancient tool to access guidance and inspiration from your higher self. Once calibrated, ask it for answers to your biggest questions and to clear blocked chakras. Learn how to work with your pendulum at goddessprovisions.com/pendulum”

The perfect pairing for the pendulum board! Clear quartz is known for bringing clarity to any situation so there isn’t a better crystal to use when seeking answers from a pendulum board. I don’t have a pendulum like this at all so I’m glad to add it to my collection.

Digital Bonus: Introduction To Magick ($3)

“Explore what magick is and how to use it. Try these 7 exercises to amplify your intentions and enhance your connection with the supernatural.”

This is a fun bonus item that helps enhance knowledge beyond what was learned and gained from the tools included in this box. I’m curious to check it out and try the exercises it includes.

Goddess Provisions Review August 2020 – Final Thoughts

I used to subscribe to Goddess Provisions but it’s been a little while since I’ve received it. I’m so glad to be back to reviewing it now for A Year of Boxes because it’s one of my favorite subscription boxes. Not only is it always so creative and value packed, but it always keeps me on track with mindfulness and expanding my spirituality. And, wow, does this month’s box contains some serious spirituality tools! The theme inspiring personal insight and future discoveries is fascinating and something really fun to learn about. I love that the collection includes a several different tools for this type of discovery that could be used conjunctively or by them selves too. I think I love the tea cup the best, in terms of a discovery method, but everything is so great. I can’t wait to try them all! I already know Goddess Provisions September’s theme is a good one and after this package of delightful goods, I can’t wait to see what it brings!
