In Your Case Stationery Box Review October 2019

In Your Case Stationery Box is for those cutesy school or office supply lovers. Each month they curate a box filled with a variety of fun organization items from notebooks, pen pouch, pen, tape, notebooks, sticky notes, and even a tumbler! You can choose from 2 boxes, the Mini Box which includes 5 themed items for $19.99/month or The Stationery Box which includes 8 special themed items for $29.99/month.

This is a great way to add a little fun to your desk space! These are all functional office supplies that are super adorable. I’m one of those people who dislike going to a store and get overwhelmed because I want everything! This narrows it down to a specific theme every month and I’ll have a little bit of everything. And this month’s theme was like a celestial dream collection, my kind of theme! Here’s everything in this month’s In Your Case Stationery Box:

Notebook

How beautiful is this notebook? It’s an 80-page notebook, roughly 8”x5 1/2” standard journal paper and is thin enough to fit right into my purse. It is a midnight blue cover with gold star clusters and a huge moon with “Look Up and Get Lost” inscription in the middle. I’ve already started using this to just write notes for reviews, etc. And because I can conveniently carry this around, it makes it a lot easier to jot down my thoughts on the go.

Pens

Pens, pens. If there’s one thing I consistently collect, it is pens! I love a nice, stylish fine pen that can help me keep the flow going when I decide to write. In this box, I got 2 of them. One is a very pretty white cap pen with a moon and star charm. The other one is a retractable pen with a pocket clip and has a pink-blue sky design on it and reads “dreams of the star” on the side. Both of these are straight liquid type ballpoint pens, not too inky and don’t bleed through the notebook pages that were included in the box. Is it weird that these cute pens make me want to write more in a world where everything is moving towards electronic?

Tumbler

This one is a cute 8 1/2” clear plastic double-wall cylinder tumbler with a plastic star. In between the double-wall is a loose mixture of black, silver, hologram confetti of stars, squares, and circles. And the cap is rose gold, pull-off cap, with a rubber ring to prevent it from leaking. I’m not a fan of these types of caps just because they come right off, but at least you could do a thorough scrub to prevent mildew. I most likely will use this specifically for water at the office since it should only be hand washed. Just a side note, when I received this, the exterior was cracked but once they were notified, they immediately sent out a replacement!

Washi Tape

If you don’t know what washi tape is, it’s basically a flexible masking tape with designs on them, mainly used to decorate notebooks and crafts. This kept with the theme with gold star constellation designs. I’m one of those people who like throwing it on to random things, like putting this around a pen to give it a touch of whimsy at the office!

Sticky Tabs

The packet includes 5 mini sticky tabs, 1 medium tab, and sticky notes. All roughly 20 pieces of each of hearts, stars, arrows, and planets. These are made to easily write short notes on them. I like to use the tabs to mark important parts of my notes or in a book. Also, another silly thing I use them for is for my skincare routine, I like to tag each product accordingly to each step by numbers. It mainly helps organize, plan and prioritize things in a fun way!

Pencil Case

This galaxy medium size polyester pouch has a cool galaxy design with an inner black liner. It’s ideal for small stationery items like pens, planner clips, post-it or could be used to store makeup. It’s the perfect handy size for every day or traveling. Since it’s a medium rectangular pouch, there should be enough space to organize the stuff in there to be able to zip it up. I don’t have anything like this one so I’m actually happy I received this!

In Your Case Stationery Box Review October 2019 – Final Thoughts

I was greatly surprised by this subscription! I love the theme and the assortment of items to play with. What I liked the most were the pens and the notebook. So adorable! For October, there were only 7 items, not 8 as advertised and I wished they had a card with the description of the theme and prices which was not included. And not sure if this does come in a box normally because, for this one, it came in a bubble mailer. That might be the reason why the tumbler cracked but customer service handled it well. Overall, I enjoyed my first In Your Case Stationery Box despite a few things.
