Here’s a closer look at the items I received for the month of October…

Included in every JoahBox is a mini pamphlet detailing all of the products featured each month. You’ll get in-depth descriptions and instructions (in English, of course)!

LUV.P Sun Block UV Mild Cica – $18

Physical sunscreens usually have a bad rep for leaving behind a white cast, but the LUV.P Sun Block UV Mild Cica totally changes the game. This sunscreen feels like a moisturizing cream, and it’s not only hydrating, but it also does NOT leave any white cast or residue behind. Plus, it’s safe to use even for sensitive skin and babies!

A.True Violet Petal Black Tea Hydrating Moisturizer – $24

The A.True Violet Petal Black Tea Hydrating Moisturizer is this month’s “big ticket” item. A.True is an amazing high-quality skincare brand and I’m always excited to see JoahBox include them! This is a lightweight and hydrating moisturizer that consists of a whopping 77% Black Tea Water. It has a silky texture that absorbs instantly into the skin without any sticky or heavy finish. It’s one of my favorite moisturizers at the moment!

Passioncat Twist Velvet Tint – $16

Passioncat is a new Korean brand and I’m so excited to try them out! Their Twist Velvet Tint is a creamy lipstick pen with a soft cushion applicator. This is perfect for achieving a gradient or soft blurred lip look!

Dr. Care Solution Ampoule Mask – $7

The Dr. Care Solution Ampoule Mask contains peptides to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and plump up the skin. It also contains a plethora of calming and skin-friendly ingredients like aloe, chamomile, Centella Asiatica, and green tea. My favorite part about this mask is the material – it’s made out of a cellulose material that hugs every curve on the face without any slippage.

Sally’s Box Friendly Cherry Blossom Hand Mask – $3

If you have rough or dry hands, the Friendly Cherry Blossom Hand Mask is the ultimate pick-me-up for your hands! It contains shea butter to deeply nourish and moisturize. There are two glove-like masks in each pack.

JoahBox Review October 2019 – Final Thoughts

JoahBox just keeps getting better and better each month! October is another clear winner with no misses for me, which is rare with subscription boxes. Not only did they include one of my favorite skincare brands (A.True), but they also introduced me to new/indie K-beauty brands like Passioncat and Dr. Care.

The total value this month is $68, which is nearly double the price of the box. Most, if not all, of these items are extremely hard to find in the US as well, so the value is definitely there. My favorite items this month is the LUV.P Sun Block UV Mild Cica, the A.True Violet Petal Black Tea Hydrating Moisturizer, and the Passioncat Twist Velvet Tint!
