Kinder Beauty Box Review December 2019

Kinder Beauty Box is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup, skincare, hair-care and accessories box, curated with kindness and delivered to your door each month! They kindly sent us this box for review.

Each Kinder Beauty Box is packed with $75-$165 worth of carefully-curated, totally cruelty-free & vegan skincare, makeup, hair-care and/or accessories. You’ll get at least two full-size products in each box, and every month they’ll help you discover new brands to fall in love with!

They work to be as eco-conscious as possible with their packaging by shipping in boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are both biodegradable and compostable along with packing materials inside the box that are also made from 100% recycled materials, and even the ink used to print the logo and designs on the outside of the box is an eco-friendly soy-based ink.

A portion of all sales benefits some of their favorite animal rights and environmental causes such as ASPCA, Farm Sanctuary, Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation and Compassion Over Killing.

Subscription Details

There are three subscription plan options for Kinder Beauty Box:

• $24/month for a month-to-month subscription
• $66 or $22/month for a 3 month subscription
• $239.40 or $19.95/month for a 12 month subscription

Shipping is free for US customers. For international customers, there is an additional $5.95 per box fee for shipping and handling. New boxes are shipped by the 18th of each month as long as the current box hasn’t sold out. If it’s happened to sell out, new subscribers will be added to the list for the following month’s box.

This is a festive and fun box to receive for December! Subscription boxes are always like a little present to yourself but around the holidays they are extra nice to find in the mail, especially when they include self-care treats like these!

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Kinder Beauty Box:

Box Insert

The box insert is always such a pretty design and clearly indicates what’s in the box along with product descriptions and retail pricing. The cover design changes each month and hints at the current season with the graphics and color. The descriptions include a bit about the ingredients as well as benefits and how to use it. I like the size of this one and how the product imagery stands out so it’s easy to follow and read.

Twist Tie Hair Wrap or Cosmetic Travel Pouch ($18)

“Hair Wrap – Literally, to put your hair away in the cutest way possible, while washing up, doing facial, masking, doing your makeup, etc. Easy to use, fun and doesn’t crease your hair! Create bunny ears, a unicorn horn, a bow, or just a regular headband…the list goes on and on! OR Cosmetic Pouch – The shiny little bag to hold all of your skincare goodies! Perfectly sized for sheet masks as well, this bag allows you to travel with everything you need to complete your skincare routine.”

Out of the two options for this item I received the Twist Tie Hair Wrap and I’m really glad. The travel pouch is cute too, but I have a ton of travel pouches and the hair tie wrap is really cute. Its made with a stretchy silver holographic fabric and has a wire inside so you can fit to your head and twist the ends into a bow or funny little bunny ears. This will be great for keeping hair back for face washing or masking.

Lip Love Gloss (Sahara and Coffee) ($16)

There were two options for this gloss color and I’m actually not sure which one I got, but the color is kind of a coppery orange coral color so I’m guessing it’s the Saraha tine. Both colors are exclusive to Kinder Beauty Box which is fun. This definitely feels like a lipgloss to me, but is intended to be multi-use. As a lipgloss it’s a light coral color with subtle shimmer and a medium gloss. It would be great for everyday wear. I would wear this often.

Dirty Lamb Ultra Night Serum ($52)

“Want to look like you slept a full 8 hrs? High antioxidant blend of fatty acid oils will keep skin hydrated through the night. Wheat germ oil is natures power house of vitamin e that will bring liveliness to your night skin. Beautiful sweet dreams are on the way with a hint a lavender, ylang ylang, & orange. Apply 2-3 drops before bed. Warm oil between the palms of your hands and pat onto face & neck. Feel free to use when you need an antioxidant boost of hydration.”

My skin is in full winter mode right now. It’s all dry and lacking moisture so it’s perfect timing to get this serum in this month’s box! It’s made with super hydrating ingredients and is formulated to rejuvenate skin while you sleep. It smells so nice. It’s light and calming and is made with lavender, ylang-ylang and orange oils. It’s lightweight and absorbs well into skin. I look forward to using this one all winter long!

Rawganic Facial Wipe (Sample)

This is a single use biodegradable facial wipe made with organic cotton. It’s made with a handful of organic ingredients like aloe vera & green tea to tone and moisturize. This would be great to bring along to the gym or yoga for a refresh afterward.

The Kind Poppy Bath Bomb “Kinder Bomb” ($6.50)

Baths are the best and bath bombs are an extra treat so this is fun item to receive. It’s made with natural, pure and mild ingredients like organic coconut oil and epsom salts. This one is extra pretty with hints of gold on it. It smells like sweet citrus and would make for a really uplifting bath. Looking forward to using this one!

Kinder Beauty Box Review December 2019 – Final Thoughts

Kinder Beauty Box is always a surprise at what kind of items will be included. Last month it was several make-up items and this month it’s all about self-care and soothing your skin which is a great way to wind down the year. The items are perfect for helping you getting through the rest of the winter too. I’m especially looking forward to using the night serum to give my skin some love and the bath bomb will be such a relaxing treat. Of course the hair wrap was a fun surprise too. It was nice to find an accessory in the mix, it changed things up a bit.
