Kinder Beauty Box Review February 2021

Kinder Beauty Box is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup, skincare, hair-care and accessories box, curated with kindness and delivered to your door each month! They kindly sent us this box for review.

Each Kinder Beauty Box is packed with $75-$165 worth of carefully-curated, totally cruelty-free & vegan skincare, makeup, hair-care and/or accessories. You’ll get at least two full-size products in each box, and every month they’ll help you discover new brands to fall in love with!

They work to be as eco-conscious as possible with their packaging by shipping in boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are both biodegradable and compostable along with packing materials inside the box that are also made from 100% recycled materials, and even the ink used to print the logo and designs on the outside of the box is an eco-friendly soy-based ink.

A portion of all sales benefits some of their favorite animal rights and environmental causes such as ASPCA, Farm Sanctuary, Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation and Compassion Over Killing.

February Box Details ($82.99 total value)

“In our Me-Time collection, subscribers can enjoy five items that will address the often forgotten parts of their self-care routine: a mushroom cacao mix for gut health, an easy-to-use facial sunscreen, a charcoal sheet mask, an essential oils roll-on, and a bold matte lip.”

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Kinder Beauty Box:

To cut back on paper use and give subscriber’s even more in their box, their product information cards have gone digital! I really enjoyed the product cards they sent before, but I love even more that they are trying to up their eco-consciousness. The digital version is super easy to find and follow and includes all the same info. Plus, the website is really nicely designed too and includes a quick video rundown of the month’s items. Four Sigmatic: Mushroom Cacao with Reishi ($20)

“Chill with your elevated evening ritual: Mushroom Cacao with Reishi. Swap your nightcap before you head to bed with a good-for-you European-style hot chocolate. Unrefined cacao joins Reishi mushroom which helps to support sleep and occasional stress. Just add hot water for a pre-bed routine that tastes like dessert and feels like a dream.”

This sounds delicious! I love getting an item that focuses on creating beauty from the inside out. This cacao sounds really tasty, perfect for cold snowy days and I appreciate that it has added health benefits for stress and sleep. Can’t wait to try this one!

All Good: Sport Sunscreen ($5.99)

“Good things come in small packages – like our 1oz tubes of SPF 30 Sport Mineral Sunscreen Lotion. This little tube packs broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection into day packs, cycling jerseys, ski jackets, and those little hidden pockets in waistbands. Bonus: it goes the extra mile with a commitment to reef-safe ingredients that hydrate and repair skin. Small, but mighty.”

I always think of sunscreen as a summer staple, but it’s definitely good to wear year-round, so it’s certainly useful to receive anytime. I like that this is a little trial sized bottle so you can see how it wears on skin. I know some natural sunscreens leave a white cast so I’ll be curious to try this and see how it compares.

Glaminizers: Serenity Anxiety Oil ($21)

“Slip away from your feelings of angst with this calming, relaxing blend of essential oils. Ease unsettledness with just seconds of breathing in this aromatherapy oil. Infused with energetically charged Amethyst. Serenity consists of Peppermint, Spearmint, Lavender, & Eucalyptus for a well-rounded, soothing blend that can allow your mind to center in tranquility.”

I love getting aroma rollers in sub boxes and this one matches my needs right now so it’s perfect! I certainly need all the calming tools I can get so I appreciate this one’s formulated for anxiety. It smells nice and soothing, like peppermint and lavender.

Rosatyque: Binchotan Charcoal Clarifying Black Mask ($6)

“This sheet mask is perfect for deep cleansing your skin with gentle ingredients and is suitable for all skin types. Binchotan charcoal will deep cleanse your skin and remove the dirt, excess oils and toxins in your skin that build up and can cause acne and breakouts. We have also infused this mask with Rosa Damascena flower water, a natural anti-ageing ingredient which will reduce redness, reduce the appearance of fine lines and will rejuvenate your skin. We recommend massaging this sheet mask when it’s on your skin to release more native ions for a deeper cleanse.”

I don’t generally use or buy sheet masks, but they are certainly quick and easy. This one sounds interesting so I might try it out. It’s made for detoxing skin which I often feel like my skin needs.

Josephine Cosmetics: Lip/Power The Bold Liquid Lipstick ($30)

“Luxe. Vibrant. Bold. A natural vegan, powerful velvety matte liquid color enriched with show-stopping pigments. LIP/POWER liquid lipsticks empower the fem within while providing the longest wear. A melange of hi impact natural ingredients makes this lipstick a must-have. Slowly blended with Cocoa Butter, Olive, Rosehip oil and Vitamin E to create a superb moisturizing texture that sits high on a throne between matte & a glossy finish. MEET MARGAUX: She is the future of pink and this deep fuschia hue does not disappoint.”

They say this is a lipstick, but it’s not a traditional lipstick, it’s in more of a gloss form, but with high pigment that has staying power. There were two colors you might receive for this product and I received the “Meet Margaux” color. It’s a really pretty and bold fuchsia color. I’m not sure if it’s my color or not, but I’m intrigued to try it out. Next time I’m able to get a night out, this one’s getting tested for sure.

Kinder Beauty Box – Final Thoughts

I think this month’s Kinder Beauty Box is a fun collection! I really like the variety of items and how they included a wellness/food item to complement the season and work with some of the other items like the stress relief roller. The two would make a great evening wind-down pair! I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, they always do a great job sending a unique variety of items that come in at a great value. I’m always excited to see what comes next!
