Kinder Beauty Box Review March 2020

Kinder Beauty Box is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup, skincare, hair-care and accessories box, curated with kindness and delivered to your door each month! They kindly sent us this box for review.

Each Kinder Beauty Box is packed with $75-$165 worth of carefully-curated, totally cruelty-free & vegan skincare, makeup, hair-care and/or accessories. You’ll get at least two full-size products in each box, and every month they’ll help you discover new brands to fall in love with!

They work to be as eco-conscious as possible with their packaging by shipping in boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are both biodegradable and compostable along with packing materials inside the box that are also made from 100% recycled materials, and even the ink used to print the logo and designs on the outside of the box is an eco-friendly soy-based ink.

A portion of all sales benefits some of their favorite animal rights and environmental causes such as ASPCA, Farm Sanctuary, Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation and Compassion Over Killing.

March Box Details ($77 total value)

The variety in this month’s Kinder Beauty Box is great! The items may be nearly all skincare routine related, but there’s no overlapping and it’s nice to freshen that up every once in awhile anyway. Spring is the perfect time for that overhaul too since changing temps mean changing skin. So switch up your normal routine with all of these goodies as you welcome the spring season!

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Kinder Beauty Box:

Box Insert

The Kinder Beauty Box insert is always such a pretty design and clearly indicates what’s in the box along with product descriptions and retail pricing. The descriptions include a bit about the ingredients as well as benefits and how to use it. I like the size of this one and how the product imagery always stands out so it’s easy to follow and read.

Willing Beauty Do Over Cleanser ($18)

“Ever feel like you need a do over? This rich, creamy cleanser gently sweeps away makeup and dead skin cells thanks to apple extract, while Willing Beauty’s proprietary HY+5 COMPLEXTM hydrates and strengthens skin without stripping it of moisture (so it’s even safe for sensitive skin).”

I like to try new cleansers out so it’s always nice to be introduced to a new brand and type of cleanser in a subscription box. I like that this one says it’s a gentle cleanser for all skin types that helps to remove debris, while also strengthening and hydrating skin. It seems like a medium thickness for the cream texture and it doesn’t have much of a scent at all. I actually like it when my cleansers have a scent as it makes for a nice experience, but not a deal breaker.

ESW Beauty Green Reset Anti-Aging Mask ($6)

“ESW Beauty Green reset Anti-Aging Raw Juice Mask is like a green juice for your face, packed with kale, spinach, broccoli, and apple extracts. The formula helps reset your skin’s clock by decreasing the appearance of wrinkles and promoting youthful skin. All ESW Beauty products are free of parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, formaldehyde, and sulfate detergents.”

This mask is a sheet mask and is made with fruit and vegetable extracts to send extra nutrients to the skin. I don’t normally use sheet masks, but this one looks interesting and sheet masks are certainly quick and easy to use. This one says it helps promote youthful skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. It sounds like it will smell really nice as it has bergamot and mandarin orange oils on the ingredient list.

Medusa Makeup Eye Dust (Penny Wise) ($8)

“It’s easy to shine with one of Medusa’s ultra-shimmering loose pigment shadow powders that can be used on eyes, lips, and face. These finely-milled mineral eyeshadows are high-impact, long-lasting, and a little addictive. It glides on the skin like silk and wears well all day long.”

This eye shadow dust is such a pretty color! It literally is like a copper penny and is a perfect warm, mid-tone neutral. It has a pink-y undertone and a hint of iridescence when applied. The powder is so fine and light and applies to skin so smoothly. If you just apply a little it’s color is rather light, but if you layer it on the color gets more intense and metallic looking. A little goes a long way so I think this would last a really long time.

Glaminizers Dew + Renew Mist ($24)

“Renew + Dew is a clean, vegan setting spray that will give you the full glam experience you’ve always wanted. It’s infused with vegetable glycerin – a natural humectant that provides a dewy, skin-like texture—while added rosewater boosts moisture, and arrowroot provides a silky finish. There’s really no other makeup mist that can compete with this skincare-in-a-bottle. Go ahead, shake and spray for that luminosity. Not to brag, but we think you’ve found next Holy Grail!”

This skin mist is like a primer for your skin. You can wear it alone for luminous skin or apply under makeup to make it set and wear better. I generally don’t use primers as they can sometimes feel heavy or unnecessary, but this one looks and feels so light and refreshing it’s a total change of pace and makes me want to test it out. It almost feels like a toner, but has a few extra ingredients to give it that primer quality. It smells really bright and fresh from the lavender and citrus essential oils. I can’t wait to try this one out!

OPAGEE Rosehip Beauty Oil Blend ($21)

“The OPAGEE Rosehip Beauty Oil Blend is 100% natural, providing a wealth of beneficial fatty acids and nutrients that rejuvenate and hydrate your skin. Rosehip also contains anti-aging properties that leave your skin glowing. Apply 2-3 drops of oil into clean damp skin and gently massage until absorbed. This perfect blend is also perfectly gluten-free, cruelty-free, and vegan.”

This is a simple, yet effective facial oil blend that’s made with rosehip, grapeseed, apricot and safflower oils. Only a few drops applied to the face before bed are needed to hydrate, repair and give skin some glow. I’ve liked rosehip oil when I’ve tried it in the past, so I’m sure I’ll like this one too. It says with use it will help fade scars, fine lines and wrinkles so I’ll be curious to test that out.

Kinder Beauty Box Review March 2020 – Final Thoughts

What a great selection of goods in this month’s Kinder Beauty Box! There’s almost a whole skincare routine in this box from a cleanser and mask to a primer and serum. The only thing missing would be a moisturizer and in it’s place there was an amazing eyeshadow instead- I’ll take it! It really is a gorgeous shade of copper. Like I said, spring is a good time to reassess your skincare so it matches your skin’s seasonal needs and the gentle cleanser, lightweight primer and skin glowing mask and serum from this month’s box should do the trick!
