Kinder Beauty Box Review March 2021

Kinder Beauty is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup, skincare, hair-care and accessories box, curated with kindness and delivered to your door each month! They kindly sent us this box for review.

Each Kinder Beauty box is packed with $75-$165 worth of carefully-curated, totally cruelty-free & vegan skincare, makeup, hair-care and/or accessories. You’ll get at least two full-size products in each box, and every month they’ll help you discover new brands to fall in love with!

They work to be as eco-conscious as possible with their packaging by shipping in boxes made from 100% recycled materials that are both biodegradable and compostable along with packing materials inside the box that are also made from 100% recycled materials, and even the ink used to print the logo and designs on the outside of the box is an eco-friendly soy-based ink.

A portion of all sales benefits some of their favorite animal rights and environmental causes such as ASPCA, Farm Sanctuary, Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation and Compassion Over Killing.

March Box Details ($136.99 total value)

“Shine On” features five items that will allow you to focus on a minimal facial skincare routine. Maintain smooth, even-textured, and hydrated skin with the help of a lightweight face moisturizer, a calming facial serum, a microdermabrasion scrub, an eco-friendly clay mask, and a creme highlighter.”

Here’s a look at what’s in this month’s Kinder Beauty Box:

Box Insert

To cut back on paper use and give subscriber’s even more in their box, their product information cards have gone digital! I really enjoyed the product cards they sent before, but I love even more that they are trying to up their eco-consciousness. The digital version is super easy to find and follow and includes all the same info. Plus, the website is really nicely designed too and includes a quick video rundown of the month’s items. Chiky Botanica: Serene Serum ($56)

“When you’re exhausted, so is your skin. Help soothe your tired skin with Chicky Botanica’s Serene Serum rich in blue tansy oil. This calming serum helps even out skin tone, reduce irritation and redness, and help your skin cells regenerate. Integrate this 100% organic serum high in antioxidants and vitamin E and C into your morning and evening skincare routine.”

This is such a lovely item from a fun and beautiful brand and I would be super stoked to receive it if I hadn’t recently received it in another box too. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have backups of items, but I also like to see new items too. If I don’t end up using this one I’ll certainly be gifting it to a family member who would enjoy it lots too!

Willing Beauty: DAYDREAM Illuminating Day Moisturizer ($24)

“Use this lightweight, antioxidant-rich moisturizer to deliver a quick dose of hydration to your skin. Made with their trademarked HY+5 COMPLEX™, this moisturizer will assist in defending your skin against UVA/UVB rays, pollutants, and other environmental aggressors that lead to aging.”

This sounds like a great moisturizer for spring with it’s lightweight texture and sun protection. It overall sounds like a well rounded moisturizer that would be perfect for daily use.

Derma E: Microdermabrasion Scrub Deluxe Sample ($5)

“Facials are much harder to reserve during the times of COVID, but with this scrub, you can bring the facial to you at home. This award-winning salon treatment alternative helps buff the skin to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. Its formula of Dead Sea salt and fine-textured crystals are gentle enough to use twice a week to get the maximum effect. For proper use, massage gently into clean, wet skin after cleansing and toning.”

I’m always looking for a good and gentle face scrub so this will be fun to try out. I like getting facials with microdermabrasion, but for when I can’t get an actual facial in this could be a good substitute.

J&L Naturals: Shine Face Mask ($19.99)

“J&L Naturals’s Shine Face Mask is as clean as it gets, starting with its four-ingredient formula and ending with its compostable packaging. Its mineral-rich kaolin and bentonite clays gently balance oil production, restore damaged skin, draw out toxins, and calm inflamed blemishes. The brightening power of vitamin C-rich beetroot and orange peel powder help protect against signs of aging to not only give you that amazing glow, but to also really let you shine. Simply mix a scoop of the mask powder with water and you have a face mask in seconds!”

Face masks are my favorite thing to find in subscription boxes so this is a great item! It’s perfect that this one is formulated to give skin a healthy glow, while also detoxing – need both of those things! I especially love that this one is packaged in totally plastic free packaging and comes with a cute little wooden spoon.

Laritzy: Creme Highlighter – Fame ($32)

“Created for all skin tones, this lightweight highlighter melts effortlessly into your skin for a dewy finish. Use this illuminator wherever you want to add a touch of light. Formulated with ultra-fine shimmer, it blends easily without any chunky glitter.”

I don’t use a lot of highlighters, but this one is really pretty and is a nice neural copper peach color. It kind of looks like a bronzer and highlighter mixed together. Perfect for a summer glow!

Kinder Beauty Box Review March 2021 – Final Thoughts

This was another great Kinder Beauty Box with a fun selection and a great value, however I would have actually preferred to receive the other box option this month. Every month they curate two different boxes which have some of the same crossover contents and some different items as well. I never know which I’m going to get and usually I don’t look too much at the other boxes, but this month since the high value item is the Chiky Botanica serum and I already have several of those I checked out the contents of what other subscribers received and thought the high value serum included there would have been fun to try. O’well though, I still enjoy the other items like the face mask and scrub, and if I ever run out of my other Serene Serum bottles, I guess I’ll have another backup!
