January Box Details ($xx total value)

“Nazan Schnapp is a phyto science driven, Cleanical and Transformative Swiss skincare line. They bridge the gap between what science and nature can achieve with 100% active natural uncompromisingly luxurious formulations using profound ingredients to transform skin within 12 hours.”

Here’s a look at what’s in the box:

NAZAN SCHNAPP Purifying Creamy Cleanser ($101)

“Purifying Creamy Cleanser with pure quartz is a very gentle, creamy cleanser that develops an airy micro-foam. It cleanses and clarifies the skin, refines skin’s texture and evens out skin tone by Lactic Acid and Lemon peel ferment. Suitable for all skin types, even sensitive, irritated and rosacea-affected skin. Skin is visibly finer, clearer, full of radiance and feels wonderfully soft and supple. Purslane, a leafy vegetable that improves the skin matrix, has strong anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in vitamins, minerals and high-quality omega-3 fatty acids, which acts like a fountain of youth for the skin. Linden blossoms balance oil production and leave skin soft and supple as well as highly effective plant actives of Bamboo, Rice, Gotu Kola and Lotus work synergistically to clarify, protect and hydrate skin.”

I’m really intrigued by this cleanser! It has several unique ingredients I don’t often see in skincare products like bamboo, linden blossoms, quartz, and purslane – that one I’ve never even heard of. The purslane specifically sounds really great with it’s ability to improve the skin matrix and it’s anti-inflammatory properties. This cleanser also smells really nice with it’s light jasmine aroma. Overall I like that it’s made to cleanse, reduce inflammation and also ensure skin stays hydrated. Sounds like all the benefits I’m looking for!

NAZAN SCHNAPP White Magnolia Face Oil ($139)

“The White Magnolia Face Oil is a light, yet rich, restoring and smoothing serum and moisturizer in one that hydrates and revitalizes skin. Antioxidant-rich organic Rose Hip, Evening Primrose and Sea Buckthorn fruit oils together with Coenzyme Q10 and organic Pomegranate Seed Extract provide protection against free-radicals and all signs of pre-mature aging while promoting the production of collagen and elastin resulting in beautiful, hydrated, smooth and renewed skin.”

This sounds like a wonderful oil for really any skin type. I have been told I need to work on the hydration of my skin so all the ingredients and benefits of this oil sound like they’d really help me out. I like that it’s noted that it’s a lightweight oil, yet still gives lots of hydration. I know lots of people, including me, don’t like a heavy oil feeling on skin so that’s a great benefit.

NAZAN SCHNAPP Purifying Mask ($110)

“The Purifying Mask is an exquisite, airy, whipped mask that leaves skin silky smooth, hydrated, clarified and glowing. East Asian super ingredients such as Bamboo, Rice, Gotu Kola and Lotus Extract work together to purify, protect and replenish the skin with moisture and radiance. Linden Flower balances oil production while locking in moisture for soft and supple skin. This mask also harnesses the beneficial bioactive compounds of Lemon Peel to gently exfoliate, cleanse and brighten skin.”

This mask sounds like it’s a pair to the cleanser with both having very similar ingredients and benefits. This one especially highlights that it’s good for dry skin and says it hydrates while it purifies too. I am making one of my skincare goals this year to focus on hydration so I’m hoping this one can help me out. I really enjoy doing masks and this one is so easy to use with it’s serum-like bottle and application. Can’t wait to try it out!

Final Thoughts

Laurel & Reed has delivered another brand that’s new to me this month. I’d not heard of Nazan Schnapp before and I’m always glad to find new brands, especially in the luxury skincare department. I’m really intrigued by all of the ingredients and benefits the products claim to have, they sound like a real treat for the skin. And their claim to transform skin so quickly especially piqued my interest. I don’t always love wild claims like that, but it leaves me curious for sure. I do have to say, that I initially was a bit underwhelmed when opening the package as I don’t gravitate toward the packing of this product and their look didn’t make me as excited to dig in. However, after reading about the products themselves, I changed my tune and am now very curious to try them out. The value of this month’s Laurel & Reed box is awesome and if these products really line up with their claims, this box will be a great one!
