Lit Love Book Box Review: Special Edition Something Wilder Box

Lit Love Book Box is a monthly book subscription box for people who love to read! They are the first box in Canada that lets YOU choose the book. Every month they offer a variety of genres and a surprise option too. Along with your novel, you will receive self-care, home decor and snacks for an immersive reading experience. They kindly sent us this box for review.

Lit Love Book Box is a new obsession of mine. This Canadian Book Subscription Box is still very new but they are absolutely killing it! And today I get to share one of their Special Edition boxes with you which is even more exciting!

Lit Love Book Box subscribers will receive a newly released fiction novel vetted by bibliophiles with great taste and an eye for the extraordinary, carefully curated self-care and home decor items to enhance your reading experience and gourmet snacks to munch on during those long reading sessions.

You can purchase a single box for $85 or sign up for a monthly subscription for $80 per month.

Special Edition Box Details: SE boxes are $90 per box and the gifts are wrapped and include pages numbers. You are to open the gift when you reach the page in the book.

Page #1: Something else best served warm and soft.

First up a box of melt-in-your mouth shortbread cookies with a milk chocolate centre. How amazing do these sound?!

Page #30: Like Nicole this item is pretty but can also draw blood.

Here we have a super cute pin-back button (I always forget the actual name) that goes perfectly with the book. Cute on your book bag…..or a denim jacket maybe?

Page #346: An essential camping activity.

I feel like every time I go to look for a deck of cards I can’t find one (in our house that is) so these are much appreciated. And SO darn cute!!!

Page #86: Something that will keep you warm on a chilly night.

Here we have Lily’s Spiced Hot Cocoa from Soul Chocolate. It includes nutmeg, cinnamon, cayenne and vanilla. So it will have a little kick to it.

Page #280: Shaped similar to a protein bar but tastes better.

Oh my goodness…..it has been forever since I enjoyed a good piece of fudge, and this one look amazing! It’s cotton candy flavor and totally makes me think of the fair.

Page #170: Phrase – I’m going to wash your mouth out with……

Satsuma used to be my favourite scent in high school so this bar of soap is bringing back memories. It smells SO darn good, and it looks like a creamsicle…..so fun!

Page #234: Handy item – you never know when you will need it.

I am always happy to receive cleansing wipes because they are just a great item to have on hand. Perfect for everyday use, your travel bag, camping……you name it.

Page #333: You are likely to find a pot of gold at the end of me.

I saved the best for last…….how amazing is this rainbow mug! I am a sucker for coffee mugs and was absolutely thrilled to see this one in the box. It’s a great size, I love the unique shape and the rainbow design is super fun. Love, love, love!

Oh…..and there was a bag of gold tucked inside 🙂

Special Edition Something Wilder Box – Final Thoughts

I’m pretty sure this is only the second Special Edition box from Lit Love Book Box (with the first being the Galentine’s Box) and I must say…..I am beyond impressed. The book choice is great and the selection of wrapped gifts made it SO much fun to unbox. The coffee mug is obviously my favourite item but overall it’s safe to say I am happy with everything. We received some fun treats, a yummy beverage, bath and body items and the cutest deck of cards. I can safely say that this is at the top of my list when it comes to Canadian subscription boxes……they are doing an amazing job!
