Each quarter Merkaela will deliver a beautifully curated collection of their all-natural health and wellness products that are made on-site with ingredients you can pronounce and know. They are made with you in mind and formulated to nourish your body, your mind and your spirit.
Each Merkaela collection is built on a theme and includes wellness products, thought-provoking content and music — everything you need to be on your way to a holistic approach to a clear mind, body and spirit.
Merkaela is committed to sustainability and craft all of their products responsibly. This means they minimize their carbon footprint by making eco-friendly and recyclable packaging choices for their products and for shipping materials, they ethically source their product ingredients from all over the world and they also donate a percentage of their proceeds to water infrastructure and environmental programs.
Subscription Details
There are several subscription options with differing budgets in mind:
Soap Box: $18/quarter Every quarter you will receive a selection of handmade soaps that will support your wholistic lifestyle. All soap bars are made in small batches with organic oils infused with herbal botanicals and essential oils.
Essentials Box & Essentials Vegan Box: $35/quarter or $128/annually The Essentials Box contains 3-5 items and supports your meditation practice.
Deluxe Box & Deluxe Vegan Box: $65/quarter or $240/annually The Deluxe Box contains 6-9 items and includes products for both your self-care rituals and meditation practice.
Shipping is not included and is an additional charge. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is an additional $10 and to Canada is and additional $20 to cover the extra shipping costs. Current quarterly subscriptions ship in March, June, September & December. New subscribers will be shipped the current box (if it’s not sold out) with in a week of subscribing.

This box is beautiful from the inside out. I absolutely love that it has a theme that weaves it’s way throughout the entire contents and comes with a guide to inspire reflection and self-care. The products will make a wonderful moon ritual but can also be used outside the lunar cycle for equal effectiveness.
Here’s a look at what’s in the fall quarter’s Merkaela box:
Box Insert
The insert comes neatly packaged in a sealed envelope along with the two items below. The insert itself includes a welcome note and explains the details of the box contents so you know how to use them each individually and together. The Lunar Moon Guide is not only educational but helpful for inspiring ideas for optimal self-care rituals. And I love the affirmation card, the quote and the size. It could be placed on a mediation alter, on your bathroom mirror, on your desk or even carried with you in your purse for a good reminder. These materials really help tie the whole theme together.

Moon Salt Bath ($18.50)

Naturally realigning the physical and energetic body. Melting away stress while taking care of aching muscles.”
I somewhat recently discovered that I love baths after not taking one for years so this is a wonderful product to receive. Baths are a nice way to take care of your body and ease muscle tension but are also a great way to take care of your mind and it’s ease it’s tension too. It is specifically formulated to promote relaxation and includes ingredients such as Mediterranean sea salt, Himalayan salt, epsom salt and dendritic salt along with lavender buds, passion flower and a lavender essential oil blend. The flower buds and pink Himalayan salt chunks make it look so pretty in the jar and the essential oils make it smell incredible. I can’t wait to take a bath with this one!
Mandala Tibetan Incense ($8.50)

Incense is a great tool for a meditation or yoga or just daily life. It’s aromas can help with intention setting and guidance. I like that there are 5 different scents in this pack and each one has a different meaning and connection. I know not everyone enjoys the smell of incense, but I happen to like it so these will be a fun thing to add to a meditation practice.
Rosemary Elixir ($18.50)

Rosemary is a crisp, earthy and grounding scent so it’s a wonderful aroma for a meditation mist. This truly smells amazing. I almost felt my head clear when using it – it’s good stuff. You can mist this into the air or directly on the crown of your head or on your heartspace before a meditation practice to bring clarity and inspiration or you can even just use it as a nice start to your morning routine to get your day off on the right foot.
Frankinsense Body Butter ($25)

This item could not be more perfect for the season we’re in. My skin is really starting to show signs of being parched from the cold weather so I’m definitely in need of some major hydration. When my skin get’s dry it gets a bit red and inflamed so I like that this can help calm that too. It’s packed in a beautiful glass jar and smells really good and earthy. It’s a grounding scent that’s warm and forest-y with a fresh herb-y undertone. It’s a super rich and thick cream that rubs in nicely and doesn’t actually feel greasy. It’s made with the organic oils of shea, hemp, olive, jojoba and babassu for maximum moisturizing.
Oatmeal Lavender Bar Soap ($8.50)

Handmade from scratch, with natural oils and nurturing herbal extracts. Its luxurious bubbles will leave you cleansed and super happy.”
This soap is responsible for making this entire package smell delightful! It’s the perfect soft, clean, lavender scent that will help to calm your mind and soothes your senses. It’s made with oatmeal as well which helps soften skin while cleansing. I am a self-proclaimed hand crafted soap junkie so I loved finding this item in the box.
Vivoo Wellness App ($24.90)

I am so intrigued by this item! I’d never heard of it before but have been curious to check my levels of nearly everything it lists up there in the description. Technology these days just blows my mind sometimes. It’s awesome how you be informed of and test these things at home now without having to go in to see a doctor. The app and process for testing seems so easy and for those that want ongoing testing there are monthly subscription options which makes it even more convenient. Really looking forward to trying this one out.
Additionally a complementary mediation and playlist are included with each box to enhance the Lunar rituals.

This is a playlist of 6 meditations on Spotify. Some have vocals, some are instrumental. I generally prefer guided meditations as I’m not as seasoned and find it easier to keep my mind focused with guidance, but the music is peaceful and interesting for each track included.

Merkaela Deluxe Box Review Fall 2019 – Final Thoughts
Ok, wow! This is the first time I’ve received and reviewed the Merkaela box and I just love it so much! Not only is this is by far the best smelling subscription box I’ve received yet, but the products are crafted so thoughtfully and are beautiful to look at too. Right when I opened this box I knew it was going to be a winner based on the calming aromas it was emitting. It smells like a glorious spa day! The products themselves not only are crafted with simple, natural, clean and often organic ingredients but the packaging is so minimally beautiful, they just look so luxurious. They would be showstoppers on a bathroom vanity for sure. I of course love how the collection is themed together as well, and has a clear intention with it. This seasons lunar theme is so perfect since lunar cycles can help create rituals and the products included use botanicals that calm and clear the mind for intention setting – all good things for heading into the hibernation season where it’s easy to get stir crazy. It’s safe to say Merkaela is one of my favorites I’ve received yet. It’s really the full package. I cannot wait to see what the next one has in store!
