August Theme – Summer Sweets

Hey Glammers! Summer is sizzlin’ and we’ve got a hot, sweet treat for you this month! This August, MorpheMe has some Rose Gold brushes for you! Get a summer style that won’t melt away with this set. In this bag of sweets, you’ve got the R14 Round Contour, R39 Tapered Blending brush, and R7 Pointed Powder brush!

Here’s a look at the brushes we received this month….

R14 – Round Contour Brush

This natural hair round brush is perfect for powder! As with all of the Rose Gold brushes (and why we’re so obsessed) it is SO SOFT! These bristles glide over your skin to blend so smoothly. This brush works great for a sharper contour or a soft highlight! The shape makes it a perfect size to set your undereye area as well. The softness of the brush is like a little pillowy cloud caressing powder gently to your delicate eye (yeah it’s that good!).

It’s not often that I wear powder but some days I really need it. Currently I use my blush brush to apply both my blush and my powder and I’ve been meaning to get a separate brush to use for my powder alone.

R39 – Tapered Eyeshadow Blending Brush

We also have this awesome natural hair tapered eyeshadow brush (that I love!). This brush is small, firm but fluffy, and (duh) soft. I like it because it’s a unique shape that makes it great for a lot of things! You can use this guy to define your crease, blend out shadow, and pack on color. It works amazing on smaller eyes due to it’s size. You could highlight your whole face with this brush for a bold shimmer and beautifully blended edges. It’s such a great brush!

This is my favourite kind of makeup brush and the one I use most often. I apply eyeshadow most days and prefer to use a brush because it makes for a more natural look.

R7 – Deluxe Pointed Powder Brush

You also have this luxuriously soft, natural hair brush with long bristles and a pinched ferrule giving it an oblong tapered tip. This is my favorite kind of brush for adding a beautifully natural contour and blush! You can also use this to apply powder foundation to keep your face from melting away this summer. Achieve smooth, flawless blends using the sides of the brush or pack on a little extra pigment with the pointed tip!

Yay! This is awesome! As I mentioned above, I have been using my blush brush for more than one product, and said blush brush has definitely seen better days. I’ve been meaning to replace it for quite some time. Now I have a new blush brush and a new powder brush…..pretty darn excited right now.

MorpheMe Brush Club Review August 2017 – Final Thoughts

This is my favourite MorpheMe Brush Club collection to date. They put together a set of brushes that could be considered makeup bag essentials. These three brushes are the ones I use on a regular basis, with the blush brush and the eyeshadow brush being brushes I use daily. I also have to say that they are the softest brushes we have received. They are unbelievably soft, and so darn pretty. My makeup bag looks prettier just having these tucked inside. Even though we only received 3 brushes this month (last month we received 8) I would still consider this a high-value collection due to the fact that I will get the most use out of these 3 brushes. LiveGlam nailed it this month!

XOXO
