This month’s box has some fun items in it that will help you get your glow on in preparation for the warmer months ahead!

Here’s a look at what was in this month’s Nourish Beauty Box ($58.99ish Total Value):

Wyldflower Labs Lip Mask ($8.99)

Wyldflower Labs brings a beautiful lip-repairing product to this box that is natural, 100% handcrafted, and which is formulated with unrefined oils and vegan wax in a yummy rhubarb scent. This Lip Mask is the best treatment we’ve tried so far that completely reinvigorates dry and chapped lips. With its Hyaluronic Acid content, it locks in twice as much moisture into your lip tissue, keeping it supple and plump.

This is an intriguing product! I’ve never seen this type of lip mask before. It’s great timing to be included since we’re coming off the dry winter months and my lips could definitely use a little TLC. The ingredients include alkanet root-infused castor seed oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin E which help repair skin and add moisture while Hyaluronic Acid helps rejuvenate skin and promote moisture retention. It’s meant to be used as an overnight treatment but can also be applied during the day. It has a berry-like scent that I’m not totally fond of, but it’s not too over powering.

Dia Naturals Orange Aloe Face and Body Mud Masque ($15)

Dia Naturals carries its Native American origin within their natural & holistic products. Combining their deep knowledge of Ayurveda, Aromatherapy and Naturopathy, they have created a skincare line that is nourishing, healing and that above all makes you feel great! Their Organic Orange-Aloe Face & Body Mud Masque contains Orange Peel, Aloe and Rose Petals powder mixed with Fuller’s Earth, a natural, mineral-rich clay that draws impurities out of your dermis and regulates oiliness. The result is a mattified, natural and clean complexion.

This masque is made with simple, all-natural ingredients including the main ingredient- Fuller’s Earth clay. I’ve never heard of this type of clay before so I’m intrigued to try it. It’s said to have strong drawing and pore clearing abilities and is perfect for oily skin especially. The orange peel powder and aloe vera powder are full of nourishing vitamins and nutrients and the rose powder helps tone and adds a mild scent. I like dry masks because they have a much longer shelf life and are really simple to use. You can mix it with plain water or even an oil if your face needs extra hydration.

Seraphine Botanicals Sahara + Glow Illuminator ($14)

Sahara + Glow by Seraphine Botanicals is a talc-free, cactus flower-infused illuminator that is further enhanced using Oregano, Lavender and Rosemary extracts to provide antioxidants and help keep your skin flawless all the time. Its texture is silky-smooth and creates a radiant, glowing effect on your cheeks, bridge of nose and wherever you require a little glam.

This highlighter is so pretty! It’s the perfect copper color with just the right amount of shimmer. It adds a subtle glow to any area you want to highlight. It’s made with olive and prickly pear oils for a smooth and hydrating application but isn’t oily to the touch at all. Rather it’s a really light powder with a smooth, silky texture.

Peony Cosmetics Lips of an Angel Matte Lipstick ($?)

This product wasn’t on the insert card this month, instead it listed a different lipstick by Peony that was more of a bright pink hue. So that’s why there’s no card description for this one. To be honest it’s bit strange when a product is subbed in a box, but I guess I’d rather have this product anyway because I like the color of it better. This one is a matte lipstick in a pencil-like form that glides on super smooth. It’s made with chamomile, carnation and water lily extracts that help soothe and repair your lips. The color is an orange-y coral color that’s perfect to wear as we head into the warmer months. It does have a noticeable scent to it that actually smells nice but isn’t necessary in a lip product and is something I would generally look to avoid.

Nourish Beauty Box Review April 2019 – Final Thoughts

My favorite product from this month’s Nourish Beauty Box is the face masque from Dia because it’s made with simple, all natural ingredients like orange peel which I’ve never tried in a face mask before. is a quick and easy way to fit some self-care into your day. I’m curious about the performance of the lip mask too and find it fun that both a face and lip mask were included in the box. You could use both one night for a little self care session to get your whole face glowing and then follow up the next morning with the Illuminator for some extra glow and the lipstick on your newly smoothed lips. I like how all the products can work together!
